What’s great about this episode that it shortens the distance between Loid and Yor. I really like how Yor was really afraid of the SSS but as soon as they threaten her brother and a man she only married out of convenience, she was willing to take the fight to them. I also like how even though he has to reasonably confirm his suspicions, Loid felt guilty in doing so and caught up to her to reconcile her. We also get an interesting reflecting about how he feels about putting up an act. Though, I would find funny he stopped finding Yor suspicious since then because if he continued his investigation, he probably would have guessed she’s an assassin.
She said she knows self defense, she’s demonstrated she can. Given Billy and the tennis match people, super strength is something possible in this universe If I met someone who was disproportionately strong for their build, I would just think they’re some kind of athlete or a genetic anomaly like Bruce Lee or Mike Tyson, not that they’re a professional killer. and Loid already investigated her to be not a threat or part of a sting operation.Yor was not going to be a hinderance to his mission. As far as the series goes. Loid only cares about the mission. Yor was not going to be a hinderance to his mission. Assassins organization like Garden could have pretty good cover up operations. Garden is not interested in WISE operation. That make WISE and Loid asset drawn blank on Garden Intel. even Loid don't know about the operation at the cruise ship when Yor is on a escort mission.
Yor's assassin background wasn't in the briefing so his agency probably doesn't know she's Thorn Princess. He also doesn't stalk her on nights she does have assassinations he stopped monitoring her far too early to know her "second job"
He did a thorough background check on her . Yor acts in a way that people wouldn't witness her , or if they do , they won't live to tell the tale . She has an entire organisation backing her up who probably cleans up loose ends . Loid's investigation was useless because he isn't the only smart dude in the town .

I assume it’s the latter as that could explain why Yor didn’t appear that worried about threatening Loid and Franky disguised as Secret Police agents.
I think she's just protective of anyone she cares about at all. I get the impression she doesn't care who she's challenging if she wants to protect someone.
It goes more into this later in the series but the Garden works for the shadow government. Therefore I'm guessing its kind of like an 'underground' organization. based in Ostania. I don't think they take orders from the government like the SSS though. Anyway, they kinda just seem like an independant assasin organization
The Garden is an underground/criminal organization, maybe secretly involved with the government but not the Secret Police. If they were related at all Yor would’ve know about Yuri and vice versa.

Loid: eh? - I’ve realized why Loid doesn’t question Yor’s strength despite it being uncanny and out of place - she raised her brother, “sold” her body and had to protect herself numerous times, and has to live a double life (his assumption) because her brother is now part of the secret police - which also her fighting strength comes in, her brother probably taught her a few things (again Loid’s assumption). As a family member of the government secret service AND working for the government - Yor would be the perfect target for someone such as Loid….convenience and circumstances collided them together in a red strand of fate that no one saw coming except Anya.
It was a good anime definitely but overhyped , I’ll say solid 7.5 but people make it like it’s 10/10 . Summer time render and Vinland were definitely far better than this
