It was so cool when such plays made the difference, everything was just more meaningful. In retail you block a coil and it literally changes nothing XD
Yup in retail you can just double blink shields cautergizw dB ring of frost mages can pretend to be level 80 while everyone else is 60
In retail nothing changes because you'll do more passive healing than affliction warlock with drain life legendary
Imagine having so much survivability in shadowlands that even after shield nerfs fire mages still don't need a defensive legendary because your the one caster that doesn't even get targeted
On top of that they have 3 schools of magic/cc🎩🤣
In retail if you don't trade a defensive for the correct enemy CD, you're basically throwing.

That play in the last duel is so patient. Many would blink forward, get step stunned with no blink and die or be forced to block, xaryu knows he is faster with a few sec left on slow so he gets back in range to reapply the slow and kites in and out on barrage cds, nice one
Real Mages run a script in their brain. You should notice a .7 second delay in any mage above 1800 where they are questioning existence on what stun to blink or even if blinking is worth the trouble. The very notion nosh of life itself.
So skilled and fun to watch. Also, compared to almost all other players, your camera is pretty close to the character, which makes it much more enjoyable for a spectater. Keep up the pvp vids!
the editing is so smooth i dont think many ppl will actually put thought into it, but damn. The better I get at wow the more I realize and appreciate how good Xar actually is. Blessed to have u in tha community my boii awesome vid

dude the Invis Coil, instant /forfeit
Can warlock do anything in that matchup ? Mage just spaming instants does dramatically more damage than the warlocks dots, and then there is coil and imp cs if the warlock tries anything. Looks grossly favored for mage

I used to be a Frost main myself and now I kinda see why they removed Deep Freeze....The problem is Every Mage able to deal huge crits on a single deep freeze target meanwhile the stunned target can't do anything except take damage...If Deep Freeze doesn't count as a freeze effect....That wd be the balanced version of Deep Freeze!!
Popping every cd as a mage means as much as popping every cd As a rogue. You're gonna win 1v1 almost any class.

@@jaded-harper i disagree, yeah really ppl dont care about the game but im stuck in the queue with 1400+ players and im the one who left the game after 2 month since the lunch and i came back to the nw after hearing some big changes and i took a look and reinstalled the game they really have done alot of things tbh the game is much better rn , And im getting ready for the new expansion.

I didn't see anything impressive, except for the arena against rogues (but to be honest rogue did all the work). Duels... Damn... What's the point to put in video duel against that warlock? He was terrible AF. And sub rogue, who opens with garrote against fmage. Not interesting at all.
I played on WOTLK for almost decade and maybe too picky, but this content and skill lvl is not comparable to players from Warmane for example, like Draizn or Srenix.
Good or not, you can see clearly that mage was OP
