@@griffinkimball2454 If only! There's only the one Target (not even a Wallyworld, shockingly) within reasonable distance, and toys barely move there, so basically it's online or nothing most of the time.
That pre-yellowed plastic on the Studio Series is so off-putting, I don't know what they were thinking. This one looks nice, proof you don't need insanely over-engineered transformations to have a solid fun toy. I keep hearing really good things about the film, I guess we'll see if he does actually have a matrix in it.
I just can't stop playing with this particular toy. It poses decently and the transformation is so satisfying. Also it is the only ONE Prime toy that has finger mold on his energon axe.
This is such a nicer looking toy. I can't believe they're making the toys look yellow on the big screen because they can't fix the yellowing on the toys. I'm already worried about the fate of my SS86 Prime.
For the price point that deluxe is shockingly good as it looks decent in both modes and I like the way the arms in the hands are on the deluxe better than I do the studio series On small complain about both maybe this is Hasbro's changing attitude but hey how about an ion rifle on one of these toys as I like my Optimus Prime packing heat as opposed to just an axe because you don't just destroy the evil forces of the decepticons buy very inefficiently hacking them to pieces as you would want to shoot them
Damn shame it's so small because I like the transformation better than Studio Series. I was gonna get this one until the Brave Commander version was leaked.
For me, the robot mode goes to the studio series, especially the head. The mainline head is just wrong. However, the colors and alt mode go to the mainline one for sure in my opinion. The yellow look is NOT what we saw in the trailers. They were nice and shiny
I don't know what the hell happened with my copy, but it has hideous tolerances. Literally nothing will come together. I can't rotate either hand enough to tab into the back of the cab because the thighs are somehow in the way, the panel on one of his legs simply won't close when it's folded around for vehicle mode because of (again) the thighs, the Matrix keeps falling out when I flip the panel it's behind out to be the front of the cab... after the SS version, I looked forward to finding this figure so much, and I'm afraid of breaking everything on it just to transform it.
@@oreotheaxolotl1387 If I leave the twin cannon for the front bumper and the axe unattached for either mode, it's a fine figure. The plastic color doesn't bother me. I haven't had many instances of a figure everyone loves and my copy sucking, and I don't think everyone loves this figure lol, but it is frustrating. There was a third party figure of Animated Lockdown that Deluxe Baldwin reviewed, and I thought it looked so cool. I bought mine and the damn thing will not stay together for anything.
I feel like if instead of spitting between mainline and studio series if hasbro just combined resources to make one really good figure things would be a lot better
There's apparently a Leader class version that just has some pics start circulating from one of the asian toy shows. Maybe that'll be what you're after.
It's a weird situation: Studio Series is mainline as far as more "regular figures" (as far as the teenaged and up fandom is concerned) while this mainline is the actual regular figures of the tie in toyline, meant for all ages
The more Optimus prime toys the huge amounts of Pizza bagels for emgo to cook for the primes
It's the same with Megs and the Burritos
The mainline figures are sort of kicking the butt's of the studio series, especially this optimus prime.
Orion Pax:Hey EMGO my finger can transform want to guess which one!?
Serious though for a several step figure he looks great
Emgo: don’t do that wwere gonna get demonetized plus we don’t need to bring “he shall not be named” here
Optimus: u mean Deadpool?
@@redalert923Emgo: No not him, the other guy
I wish the studio series came with this axe mold with the visible fingers
Pizza Bagels are the right of all sentient beings!
Looks way better than the Studio Series in either mode... super annoying that everywhere online he's either sold out or mispriced at $45
I just got him a few days agao at Target, so it shouldn't be hard to get him in person soon
@@griffinkimball2454 If only! There's only the one Target (not even a Wallyworld, shockingly) within reasonable distance, and toys barely move there, so basically it's online or nothing most of the time.
The yellow gray on the Studio Series looks like it spent years in a smokers' house.

Everytime you make the head do a 360, I think "Emgo's breaking Tranformer necks again".
I do honestly think this guy is better then the SS one.
Just got ahold of this guy, he’s awesome! Just be careful of the matrix, I’ve already seen stress on the plastic just bc it’s so small
I never thought I’d see the day where Transformers One’s mainline figures are better than the Studio Series ones
PIZZA BAGELS
_"BURRITOS!"_
The only true question we want answered in an origin movie.
Looks so much better than the Studio Series toy.
The top of the axes. Are those bloosh compatible?
This is such a nicer looking toy.

James Moses Jr. Transformers one prime looks good.
I like the ss more than the mainline prime. I'm the kind collector who wants accuracy over playability for the movies toys.Amazing review btw
With a name like Prime Changers and the fact the called him by both of his names I was expecting there to be a two robot mode gimmick.
i only saw pics of this guy and i immediately said "much better than SS." my only issue though is the energon axe not fully covering the underside
awesome job about Prime Changers OPTIMUS PRIME Action Figure from Transformers One 2024
Ah yes, Orion Pax and his trusty matrix of leadership.
So weird to see how different these two products being released at the same time are.
i can't wait for u to make a vid about SS86 prime

Ahh the old blush never gets old
I picked this one up out of curiosity, I'm not thrilled with the price, but I don't hate the figure. I had to kiki the wrists though, so loose.
I think Hasbro is screwing us over the toys seem cheaper and the deluxe's and smaller and charging $20 for it.

I like that
This figure kicks butt and is way better than the studio series figure. The truck mode on the studio series is just awful.
Oh the third party people are about to go ham on upscaling/reengineering these new Primes. Can't wait for the movie!
how excited are you for the studio series '86 prime?
cool
I Shouldve got this instead of studio series, still greatful though

Same story here. It’s frustrating seeing everyone love the toy when mine sucks

I like this figure's alt mode better; it looks less like it has ballast tanks on the sides.
I know emgo probably wont see this but should i go back to target and get this, or the studio series
that's up to you.

@lightingstrxu. You’re making too much sense! That’s anti big business 😢
I like the studio series better except for the ankles. Studio series has stress marks on ankle tabs.
Prequel.
God that plastic on the studio series prime looks like it was pre yellowed it’s awful

emgo316 where can i find the battle damage ratchet and brawn
it's linked in the description of that video. It's a Target exclusive.
SS way better
