Shabdaraz Chitrali Dance

This a heavy & slow dance and is dance while wearing the SHOOQA. The poet of SHABDARAZ thinks about his beloved all night and is not able to sleep. Thus the night seems very long to him. For this reason, the word SHABDARAZ is repeated form time to time during the poem and the song is also called SHABDARAZ.His beloved is in love with older man.
ژارو دوست مو گانے سلوکان ہوشٰ نو کوروئے
سے بے قاعدہ شب داراز
جوان تہ قدرو کوئے سے تہ فائدہ شب داراز
