LOC works better for my high porosity hair. I use a liquid and a leave in together and then instead of oil I use shea butter and then any leave in cream on top and it works wonders
Wow never thought you could use either method for your skin. Very good to know. Necessary informative info. Thank you! 😊
You are welcome
Thank you! black hair information. This LCO method is definitely what I am going to be using from now on in my monthly natural haircare routine.I am a subscriber already. Thanks! for uploading all your haircare tips and information for natural African American texture hair. Thanks! and God bless!
I'm glad you found the info useful. Thanks for subbing :)
Wow i used to use loc method on my skin before i even know its a common method and its supper effective in making the skin glowing and soft just in a few days
It really is! I have also always done LCO on my skin. Except I always start with serum.
Informative! Good bye towel dried skin. YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER, THANK YOU!!🙏🏽
Glad it was helpful!
So how do one moisturise low porosity hair?
I'm low porosity and find the LCO method works the best for me. Since oil is a sealant, I use it last. Stick with lighter, water-based creams and lighter oils (like almond and jojoba) to ensure penetration into the hair shaft and reduce buildup.
@@ardentgailla thank you
Another option is to skip the oil altogether. You can do just liquid and cream to reduce build up. But definitely go for a lighter cream.
@@Blackhairinformation thank you
You mentioned low porosity hair yet failed to mention what steps those of us who have low porosity should take In place of L.O.C or L.C.O. I have low porosity hair and I don't find that either of these give me much comfort. Especially now that I've so learned that protein overload is also a part of the problem. Any advise on what can be done?
You are absolutely right. It was an oversight. For low porosity hair, it would make sense to go with light moisturisers used every other day instead of daily. Also I would skip the oil as it may cause build up.
@@Blackhairinformation makes sense cause sometimes my hair is supper dull and adding oil makes it kind of crunchy... I'll try it out. Thanks!
