    Good job! Looks great! Watch out with those 4 hole injectors, I bought a new set thinking it’s better but, I could never get my car to run with those. I had to buy another set of single hole injectors. A real $$ pita! I hope you fair better?!

    I also used the explorer ev6 injectors in my fox cars. They atomize fuel better and you can actually gain 2 to 3 more mpg out of them depending on how you drive. So good move on that!

    That hose on the oil fill is where the crankcase draws fresh air. The vacuum side is in the PCV valve. No oil will get drawn into the engine from there. And if you're worried about oil vapors, install an oil seperator.
    Keep up the good work. I'm enjoying the content so far.

      AGSF32 OR AP104 are the correct plugs for a 95 cobra or 96 explorer.
      ASF42 OR AC25 is correct for a 5.0 HO
      with e7 heads. Shorter but still screw in. I use the AP104 in mime. It's a stock roller block with GT40 heads and explorer intake.

    • @patrickf4692
      @patrickf4692 Před 15 dny

      Im posting on this older comment only to add relevant information for those concerned over the difference in E7 and GT40 spark plugs. Both are 14mm style plugs that will physically screw into either of the cylinder heads yes.......
      There IS a huge difference in the reach of the plug into the chamber, with one measuring .460 and the other .760 respectively. The original Motorcraft plug for the F3ZE "Cobra" head is part # AWSF-32C. The "W" in the part # denotes the extended reach of .760
      All the difference is on the more important combustion chamber side....which cannot be seen with the heads installed. They are different plugs for good reason.

    • @patrickf4692
      @patrickf4692 Před 15 dny +1

      Correction, I quoted the reach dimensions almost the same......
      The "W" in the plugs # is .708 reach
      Apologies.

    It’s probably too late, but don’t use the throw out bearing that came with the RAM clutch kit, order the Ford Performance one. unless you like the sound of chirping birds so much you want to replicate it.

    • @NGG1983
      @NGG1983 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@VeteranRevivals ya, I've made that mistake and so have many others. the ones that come in kits just aren't good quality and won't last the life of the clutch. my RAM one started chirping after only a few thousand miles. Look it up on forums you'll see plenty of people saying the same. hopefully you get lucky, or they've changed suppliers. I dunno if you've started it yet, but make sure the distributor is not in 180 degrees off. make sure it's at tdc on the compression stroke when you install it pointing to #1. also, maybe set it to 10 degrees for initial startup, and make sure the spout connector is out. Great job on the build and getting it in the car though, it looks great.
