The first part of this fight is actually harder than the first. Madara is very aggressive and uses a lot of subs. Watch your health, retreat for subs and make sure to have over 85% health for an S.
The second fight i insanely easy because Guy is crazy powerful, if you are struggling dynamic entry destroys the barrier easily and your grab will slow down time and even render the barrier useless. If you are struggling or not, make sure to have subs ready to use because he occasionally gets a big hitting attack in. Health has to be no lower than mine and you have to get the majority of stars for an S.

@@WuTangWarrior Yeah the first part of the fight is the hardest, but once you hit the second part, it's suddenly a lot easier when you brute force this bastard.

+Nelson Alemar Then the only possibility is that you took an obscene amount of time or you only did the same combo for the entire time, you get points minimally for using a variety of attacks
Well I finally got it today but to get it I had to 4 star every quick time event on the battle and that finally got me an S-rank. Now I am struggling with Susanoo Sasuke vs Susanoo Madara

Never have I screamed at a boss until now. I was full health and I got Madara to like 3% health and then the bullshit that is his counterattacks and canceling my chakra dashes ruined it.
I've played a lot of fighting games with a lot of bullshit bosses (hello Alpha 152), but I think this one takes the cake. Infinite substitutions is just complete horseshit. Hirudora is next to impossible to land because it has no invincibility frames and awful recovery time, Dynamic Entry has even worse recovery time, and Guy's reach is worse than a quadriplegic's. Throw in a psychic boss with limitless substitutions and frame-perfect timing on Counterattacks and those instant ranged rails, and I declare shenanigans on this S rank.
Fuck me I've been at this stupid fight for two hours already.
+One_More_Wolf Read my description and watch how I fight, if you follow that strategist, you will be able to get the S much easier, you just need to try it a few times.
Also don't bother with ultimate jutsu, waste of time in this fight and the bonus reqs have no impact on rank.
+InsipidCjs I actually just got it. Playing safe wasn't working for me, he'd always winding up subbing out of a combo three or four times and catching me me a hit, and they just kept adding up. I switched to being hyper aggressive and trying to exhaust all his subs and just dash cancelling a combo until my chakra ran out. Charge chakra, rinse and repeat.
Your video was helpful, I'm just not good enough at blocking to make it work haha.

Yet they are both on the hardest setting, the first one is definitely a bit too hard for casual players

@@InsipidCjs I'm a casual player and this fight, and also the fight where Kakashi and Obito team up to fight Madara, are the ones that are really over the top hard to get S-rank on.
I got the S-Rank, but to say this fight was "bullshit" was an understatement.
This is why is one of favorites he put his life on the line to save everyone knowing he will die if he used the 8th inner gate a true hero indeed.
Fun fact: If you use the guard + attack move when madara has his ball shied up it immediately gets rid of it while slowing down time allowing you to immediately hit madara so you can honestly use that whenever he puts that up and you never have to deal with his defense shield.
This literally made me cry when I played this

Guy is such a badass. And this is prolly the best fight in the series.
And it's power all his own. Not power given or genetics like the main 2 naruto and sasuke.

for future reference you can use the sekeson up to three times to brake madaras shield another way to instantly break his shield is to use guys grab should leave him wide open for attack

My BF and I are trying to get this S rank but can't manage to get it. The first part is really to hard... And it ain't because we aren't good we managed to get the platinum trophy for all the other Naruto games on ps3 but damn this first part...

Ichigo Kurosaki Don't underestimate him, I thought he was a silly character too. When I saw him fight for real against Kisame the second time and when Lee fought Gaara. I realized these two aren't kidding around. I thought that might've been the end for Guy after landing the crimson beast mode on Madara.
Might guy is *far* from weak lmao. He may seem goofy most of the time but when that guy gets serious he can really mess people up. I mean look at his fight with Madara , he literally wrecked him in his Eight Gates form , and Madara had god level strength at that point.
All Gai knows what to so is open those Gates, and even with just that he's an absolute monster. I guess the goofy appearance leaving an impression means he's effectively deceiving you as a ninja should do. Well done Gai.
I think Kakashi, Guy, Naruto and Lee have better English dub voices

Yeah the first half is the hardest, but the second half is just phenomenal, and is honestly my favorite Boss fight in terms of those that have QTEs involved. Even though I love so many boss fights for their QTE sequences!

I can't seem to get s I usually pass w about 85 health I string combos along as much as possible but madara just hates me any tips?
+Daniel Ramirez Unfortunately you need at least 90% for an S. I wrote some info in the description.
If being aggressive doesn't work. You just need to make sure you have max chakra and subs before attack and then try a combo plus jutsu combination.
Be ready to defend and sub constantly.
Often after getting hit by combo + jutsu he is a little more open.
Don't bother withe the ultimate jutsu.

Like I said, it's on the storm 4 ost, every single bit of music from the game is in it. You can watch it on CZcams, but the only way to find it is to go through each song until you hear it. So good luck
I'll never stop wondering why Kabuto didn't even try to reanimate Might Dai. I don't think I need to explain how terrifying an essentially infinite Eighth Gate fighter would be, but then again nobody but Minato and Kakashi seem to realise how strong it is (ignoring those who use the Gates of course), so I guess it's everyone's fault.
Guy would have turn to ash if it wasn’t for naruto, so the same fate probably happened to might dai, kabuto needs essence of the people to revive them
I kinda wish Guy had actually died cuz his sacrifice was all for nothing now with Naruto saving him, he should’ve just turned to ash and blown away.

Anyways good job beating him, wasn't really that hard once you got used to his responses to your attacks after a few tries, still fuck CC2 for giving Madara and other bosses like him infinite subs...

There is not 'set' required health for an S, he's simply stating what he had.
***** Well i guess you learn something new every day, i've now gotten an S on every part of the story and 100% the game and i never got an S rank on a fight when my health was at 89% or below. Also since this is relevant as hell: Pokemon > Digimon 4ever
I almost forgot: the Hirudora's start up is garbage.
Has to be one of the worst ultimates in the game.
Guy should've died a ton of moments in the Ninja war, were either asspulls or retcons.

Even before this game where i watched this anime episode Guy looked like Asura from Asuras wrath and coincidetally its the same studio for both of these games

+Andrew Johnson There's no exact percentage, however most fights you can't go below 80% and you need to get majority of stars in the quick time actions.

Do you mean you got all stars and had 100% health on each fight and couldn't get an S.
The only issue would be you took to long or didn't use a variety of moves. But you should get an S if you had full health at the end of the two battles and got all the stars.

I don’t mean to be that guy, I just picked this game up again and decided to finish up any mission that I didn’t get an S rank on ( which is almost all of them, they are all A) but this is probably one of the easiest S ranks I’ve ever gotten. And Guy’s thumbs up was so damn cool for some reason. Like he was giving a thumbs up to the future generations to come

Yes but did you read the whole guide, you need to get all the Stars on the QTEs AND 85% health, please read in full before being basic.
How to fix Shippuden
Have Might Guy’s Final attack turn the Divine Tree To ashes so Kaguya does not return.

Well, I've done it, so it isn't impossible. I put tips on how to do it in the description and you should try to learn how I play and emulate it, the key is to take almost no damage and to take it slow, with minimal risk. So not impossible, just hard

It's about taking no damage at all, the best you can do is to really on dynamic impact, always keep distance and learn his moves, it will require retrys
Fuck madara. He always throws his freaking... "purple shuriken(?) of destruction of doom of the end times" taking away my S. I tried and tried and only got A because of his shuriken >.
+Niyko you just need to watch him constantly and be ready to defend or sub. With practice you can get the S.
Remember this is just taijutsu no ninjutsu nothing
Technically, the eight gates could be considered a form of Ninjutsu
2nd fight is truly the easiest fight in all the games

Are you just spamming the same move? You need to at least use a variety of moves or you won't get an S no matter what.
@@InsipidCjs yes but the combo with Night Guy are only one (O+O+O+O). What you mean with variety of attacks?
@@alley-oop4231 I don't know how that's unclear, use Ninjutsu as well and tilts, and grabs, you can't just use one combo over and over, that's not S rank worthy

I heard that a lot people have this problem.
There are no bugs, you need to get an S rank on the initial battle as well, the one were is is normal guy, it is a combined rank, that should be obvious.
