Lots of practice. The bike makes it easier as well. I rode a KLX250S up there for a few years - it's 300lbs, so more than your CRF250F, but they'd be similar in a lot of ways otherwise - definitely harder on that bike. After I've been riding for a few hours, the grace completely leaves me and it becomes comical.
Really liking it. The stock gearing is a little taller (final drive on the transmission is shorter, but they went from 13-51 to 14-49 for sprockets) - I considered changing it, but am getting used to it - just means a clutch pop instead of just throttle to get over some obstacles, which is good technique to learn anyway.
