MarcLloydZ I agree because you gotta be a billionair to get ur own Zipper ride only wish they had a vedio game with this ride in it would be awesome I hope they make a Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 game so they can add the zipper ride to the game a carnival is not compleate without a zipper for sure
I really think it's these carnival's fault for not making a single rider line for the Zippers that is more the problem than the Zipper not being able to have Single Riders. When I notice Chance Zippers during the day, most of them only operate ONE side. The other side should be a Single Rider line. When 2 people go into the Single Rider line, they will be paired up, and be able to go on the Zipper. Instead, carnivals don't think, and turn away a lot of Single Riders which could really be riding together. Besides, people going to the carnival alone, I know there are groups of 3 & 5 people. Someone has to sit out - not riding which again are the carnivals not getting money from those people. To me, you never turn away customers, but rather just to figure a way to work them into what you are trying to do. What I think that Chance should do is to make a Permanent Park model. I imagine that there are a lot of smaller parks that would add one of these to their park, and but all of them up till now are all portable.
Predatorocks I agree completely, I hated watching other people having fun or just waiting for other single riders. I think they should go about it more smarter like having a better height requirement like for example: you must be a certain height to ride alone and if you are smaller you must be accompanied by a taller/larger person, surely carnival's would be making a lot more money if they would allow single riders on their rides. Because the reason that the Zipper doesn't allow single riders is because smaller children could lean over and fall out of the lap bar, but with a different height requirement i'm sure they could've dodged that problem completely. Just my thoughts on it lol.
The lighting in the spindles is random and out of synch. I think if the lighting was controlled by a sealed DMX lighting unit in the main boom and the spindles used radio DMX transmission this would solve the issue.

It's not DMX, and they've been synced since then.
