I think it was a very tactful way of redirecting the girl, not passive-aggressive.
But I will use this phrase with my coworkers

I love how ironic this season was. From the episodes tying together, the last episode mirroring the first and OMG the gold mine that is Maria Sophia. Playing a bad actress, who is actually an amazing actress. Also Larry’s “bad casting” by hiring her, in real life was incredible casting. She is my new fav actress. I’ve been checking out her other stuff. She isn’t really mentally disturbed…
