Why such a slim margin?
@@El_Andru I didn’t know then as much as I do now! I was working a separate full time job and trying to study A+ as I lived my life, it’s okay to pass by a slim margin sometimes, so long as you do indeed pass and grow to become better.

@@royflowers99a pass is a pass, a doctor who passed with a c is still a doctor, as long as you take the time sometime to review what you missed on the test it’s good - aswell as managing this on top of a job - bravo :)

So I am not working help desk because I got a better opportunity with my Business degree BUT I am the go-to guy when it comes to computer problems at work and my team really appreciates that from me. My brother also got this cert and he is currently making $50k a year starting salary going from job site to job site fixing office printers. From the IT guys at my work the place to start is in the field and get out there before working help desk. From what my brother says he enjoys working the field he has a company car and is allowed to use it for personal use so I would definitely look for jobs that ask you to travel around the town/city. In my opinion its definitely worth it man as long as you plan on getting more certs as you work!

Officially CompTIA A+ certified! Took me about 3 months to get both done and I work an extremely demanding schedule. I only used Professor Messer's videos, course notes, practice exams, and exam hacks. Thank you Professor Messer! I plan to be back for a few more in the next couple of years.

Studied this 3 months ago and whole I took my 1101, life got in the way and never took the 1102. Just went through the whole playlist at 2x speed and I have the confidence to take the 1102 again once I take some practice exams. Thank you once again Professor Messer!
I got delayed a few months with finishing these videos but I'm finally done.
I have a job interview this Wednesday and somehow I got that before I even took the certs.
I feel comfortable enough now that I could take both exams tomorrow before the interview and I just might do that.
Thank you so much for all these videos. I've been going over them constantly while reading along with an A+ book I have.
By this time Thursday I should hopefully have my A+ cert and an IT job!

Obligatory thank you to Prof for all of the material. Was able to get my cert and I appreciate how the material was organized for both this and the 1101. The practice exams for the 1102 were also a good confidence booster as they emulated Comptia's very... odd way of wording questions and helped me both troubleshoot where I wasn't super strong and also get me more comfortable with reading the scenarios super closely. Passed both first try with the book, these vids, and the practice tests you wrote up for insurance.

Professor Messer thank you so much for the hard work you put into these videos, and making the free. I'm a sudent and too broke to get all the expensive study guides. I've put this exam down so many times didn't believe I would be able to pass and feeling the end goal kept getting farther away from me. I was desperate but your videos gave me the roadmap and dicipline I needed to keep going and as of today I am A+ certified. Thank you messer! Passed with a 742! Thought I was going to fail because there were over 10 questions I was unsure of but the PBQs were easier than the 1101! I am now A+ certified and will start network+ later soon! See you there!

Im having trouble landing the job. What did you do? Do you have a degree in related field?
@@El_Andru my degree is in education. I saw somewhere that with IT, it's all about creating your unique identity and branding yourself for the right job.
For me, I'm trying to put the "information" in Information Technology. That helped me land my gig, but it took a while. I think I applied for 50 positions before getting an interview. So don't give up and keep learning, growing, and reflect on how your past can relate to IT because it almost always CAN!

Making sure information is accessible and accurate. Providing thorough documentation when you work on (and hopefully fix) an issue. Having good communication with others and asking questions. Taking time to explain how something works or best practices so the issue doesn't replicate itself.
Instead of relying on hard tech skills, I am embracing more soft, interpersonal skills.
I wanted to come back and thank you for all of your videos. I just passed my 1102 exam this morning on my first attempt and couldn't have done it without you. Coming from a background in used car sales, into IT, hasn't been easy but it has been fulfilling. I owe a lot of my success on these exams to you. Thanks again Professor Messer.

I did that for 1001 and passed 1101 I dont think you should it made it harder
I know this comment is pretty old but honestly you don't *need* to buy any practice tests. I passed both exams in less than 30 days by watching Professor Messer and studying free online practice exams like compass exams and crucial exams.
