youtube just now recommended me this, but im glad it did, this isn't really one of my favorite songs in the a hat in time soundtrack but that doesnt mean anything because literally every track is really good, and the same can be said about this cover because its really really nice! great work!

This remix is amazing, it’s sad that nobody pays attention to it, because this is amazing

for some reason the soundcloud versions always receive way more attention than the yt versions even though i dont even promote them lol
thanks a *lot* for your comment! ^^

I'm now picturing Hat Kid scaling the Windmill in a 2-D side scrolling way.

I am watching someone play Hat right now. I had to come on yt to find the music for windmill, and finding this is even better. Outstanding work.

This is really good, nice job!
Is there also a midi for this? I've been looking for a good one of this song and could only find a piano tutorial version.

thanks! and i don't know, i didn't use a midi when making this so i can't say. maybe someday i could make a midi myself, but it's not my priority atm

This is a great remix kinda Feels like a song from yoshis island or dkcif it remixed for smw in a hack like brutal mario world.

Honestly can’t disagree with that logic it sounds like something I’d hear in a late 2000’s/early 2010’s smw hack. Such as master hands doomsday thats a remix of a song from a different 16 bit game.

@@filippogiulietti1665 oh no not at all. (sorry for the barebones answer!!)
amk is a tool for inserting custom music into a smw rom, and it's based on MML (music macro language); i manually arrange these covers by ear, including all the dynamics. it's basically a way less intuitive way of using a tracker.
i don't think it's even possible at all to just feed a program an audio track and get a fully polished *sequenced* arrangement 😅
