Moreover soul fire is the latest in the nether update.
Soul fire is not so easy to create it can be only found or created by igniting on a soul soil. But fire can be created by igniting on most flammable blocks.
Soul fire is also can be used for decoration as it doesn't spread as fire which is not harmful even for flammable blocks but fire can instantly spread and cause harm.
So soul fire is more better than fire.

I personally think that blue fire should be More powerful than regular fire, I mean in real life it has been proven the Blue flame is 10,000 times Hotter than regular flame, I would love that to be the case with SoulFire, it would make the SoulSand valley a much more difficult place to survive in.
