Super helpful I started crocheting about a month ago and was able to follow along very well, I used size 6 yarn with a size 10 hook and it’s so big and fluffy! Plus the dogs barking in the background make me feel like I’m back home I could cry

I made this and it came out great! I made a few personal changes, but I do these for most amigurumi. To keep my stitches denser, I worked it up using yarn under instead of yarn over, and I used an invisible decrease.

Awesome video! I’ve been wanting to make this for a while and this video was very easy to follow. I would consider myself a beginner so I agree with the plethora of comments saying this is great for beginners. Had a rocky start but I listened and just kept going and it started to look just fine. I made mine with size 10 crochet thread..a little tight in some areas..but overall cute and your tutorial was so easy to follow...I had to write down the directions but you made sure everything was step by step...thank you!!

Fun Fun project thanks for posting now if only I could Crochet as would love a little small finished one three inches long with really soft squeezy filling
You should give it a shot, go with a thinner yarn and use the recommended hook on the skein. Though for a 3" one it would have to be crochet thread I think!
I would but my hands don't work as well as they used too I think a long crochet tube soft filled and stitched off at intervals to create shapes. finished item would look great on key rings or magicians props☝ @@wipandchain

You could use a thicker yarn and bigger hook and use the same tutorial. Other than that you would need a different tutorial with more stitches and rows.

I am afraid that if you do the invisible decrease method it won't be tight enough. I recommend the traditional decrease. If you try the invisible decrease let us know how it turns out! Thanks for watching our video!

I just started and I'm having some trouble getting my hook through the stitches, can I do front loop only? And if yes can I switch back to normal stitches on the rows of 24 stitches or should I just stick with FLO for the whole project? (Sorry if you mention this in the video, I'm still watching the beginning)
Front loop only changes the design of the finished project, same as back loop only changes the project. Using Front loop only & back loop only is designed to change the direction of the project. are you string the tail of the magic circle through row 0? ik you’re not hooking the tail to make the single crochet but is the tail supposed to be in line with the yarn string from the line when you first put your hook under to make the first loop of the single crochet?
Crochet around the circle and tail, at the end weave in the tail after you pull to tighten. Does that answer your question?
Visual learner here everything was going great till you stopped and wanted us to do it on our own 😅 I’m not good with patterns ah wish you would’ve continued the whole thing for us visual learners just a suggestion 😊

In UK it's a 6 but you could use the size hook suggested on the yarn label.

I am writing the pattern down for myself. I seem to be off by two rows from what is being stated vs. what my row count is. It's happening at row 127. Making the 4th leg. If following the pattern I start at row 87 and end with 99 for the 14 rows row 100 is decrease and stuff then 101 is 6 SC decrease. Row 102-105 6 sc
Row 106 12 sc increase
Row 107 24 sc increase
Row 108- 120 24 sc (14 rows)
Row 121 12 sc decrease and stuff
Row 122 6 sc decrease
Row 123- 126, 6 sc (4 rows)
This brings me to row 127 for the beginning of the 12 sc increase.
