Hello VM, I’m in grade 8 this year and I’m also in the seal program at my school since grade 7 and I’m doing the selective entry exam to see if I can get into Mac rob. Is there anyway to know how well I would do on the actual test so I know how much I need to study? Thank you so much for your videos! I hope I can get in haha!
How much should you eb getting on the pratice exams to actually have a good measure of what you will get on the actual test?
Depends on the practice exams itself, but around 75-90% is a good mark
Selective is rigged, classmate got 4 superiors & 1 Average and failed

the exam is coming closer, and i'm getting more nervous. i feel incredibly unprepared, but can i ask what your study schedule was? being organized is something i find helpful but don't know where to start.
The best way is to slowly start increasing the time spent each day studying, based on how close the exam is. As the exam gets closer, you should increase the amount spent studying.

The best way to study for the exam is to set aside a certain amount of time for practicing and studying every single day between now and the exam, and also make sure you are familiar with the content. There is definitely a chance for you to pass in Year 10 as well. About 20-30 students get into each school (so around 100 students total) for Year 10 entry. These chances are also increased if you have a wide range of extra curriculars.
