2021 College/Law School trip to North Carolina and a family WEDDING TOO!

- This summer we traveled to North Carolina to attend a family wedding. It was the first time seeing our family since COVID. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and family.
As my son is heading to law school in the fall we checked out Duke Law and NC Law school and this allowed Audrey to see a few colleges as well! With some restrictions still in place we were unable to attend formal tours be we loved wondering around. Duke is gorgeous!

About a year ago I came across Audrey's story and have from time to time followed her progress. Thank you : to you and your family for the love, warmth, kindness and opportunities that you have provided to her. You all have done a great service! There is a saying: "To save a soul is to save all of humanity" (Paraphrasing). May God's blessing be upon you and your family for your remarkable generosity and kindness-Amen!

What a beautiful family! Congratulations to you son on his law degree! UNC is a great school - we lived in the Charlotte area before my husband retired had many friends who studied there. Great pictures! ❤️
Both school were amazing. The trees at UNC were gorgeous! I think my son will attend Northwester so no so far away.
@@JenniferDoering our SIL is an attorney here in Dallas. He graduated with honors from George Washington DC. He and our daughter adopted Esther in China. I’ve known several people who went to Northwestern - we lived in Chicago our first year out of college way back in 1973! Ha! Loved the northwester suburbs of Chicago but it was just too cold for us!
@@sharronwolfe7711 We are Midwest folk now. Grew up in Texas but still love the Midwest values and Chicago! So lucky to have so many choices.
@@JenniferDoering oh my! I had no idea you were originally from Texas! My husband and I are originally from Oklahoma but we left after college and this is the closest we’ve been to our hometowns. But like you, we’re now ensconced in Texas - but we’re still Oklahoma State fans! There’s definitely something wonderful about mid-America, whether Southwest or Midwest!

No. Gracie is amazing a soccer and would love to play in the West. Audrey loves so many places so who know what will happen in the end but I can't imagine them going to the same school.
