The Dover Demon a real creature or part of Cree Folklore

this time ill be talking about the dover demon, an interesting creature with memorable features that was only reported on twice int the late 70's but has been part of the Cree folklore for a lot longer.
the story takes place in Dover Massachusetts, a town 20 minutes away from Boston, the town is said to be a magnet for the mysterious.

I actually have seen this or something exactly like this, me and my brother saw it when we were about 7 years old going to a family renunion across the state of Washington. Freaks me out still to this day. And no this is not a joke

I'm originally from Dover, MA. The Dover Demon is a legend told to this day. Many still look for it. A theory is that it was an escaped mental patient from the neighboring town at Medfield State Hospital
