OMG, thank you so much for this reaction! I'm so happy you enjoyed these songs! Let me answer a few of the questions you posed during your reaction:
1. Ring On My Ears is not their debut song; their debut song is a ballad called Reminisce About All that really highlights Yonghoon's vocals. However, I think ROME showcases their talents as a band better, so it was a good introduction!
2. I think Ring On My Ears is about the experience of performing music. It was composed and written by CyA, the bassist/rapper. Fun fact about ONEWE: since they're a band, almost all of their songs are both composed and lyrics written by the members themselves!
3. Regulus was composed/written by guitarist Kanghyun, inspired by the story The Little Prince (which he had read recently; he reads a lot).
4. Rain To Be was indeed filmed during the summer, but they still felt quite cold! And don't worry-the instruments shown in the RTB MV were second-hand/already broken. Rain To Be was also written by guitarist Kanghyun (although rapper CyA always writes his own rap verses).
5. Still Here was written by main singer Yonghoon. Yonghoon and Kanghyun are currently in the military (they enlisted in late summer), but they made a point to film this ahead of time.
A lot of ONEWE songs are ballads, so they may be less up your alley. Let me give you suggestions for some of their non-ballad songs (that also have MVs): Veronica, Parting (slow like Regulus, but I don't think of it as a ballad), Montage_, 0&4, AuRoRa, End of Spring (not written by ONEWE). Secondly, let me say that prior to getting into ONEWE I was not a ballad person, however they have changed my perspective! Here are a couple of their slower songs with MVs that I still recommend: Universe_, Cosmos.
For all my recommendations, I stuck to only songs that have MVs, since I figure those are easier to react to. But there are so many AMAZING Onewe songs that don't have MVs as well, and that add additional variety! I really want to recommend some more, but I will restrain myself so as not to overwhelm you.

Funny you asked if Dongmyeong (pianist) is Keonhee's sibling. He's actually Xion's twin! It's an inside joke in WeUs that Keonhee is their missing triplet. The twins look more like Keonhee than their actual twin 😆

Also people are a bit split on which song is their debut, or Onewe debut song.. since Ring on Your Ears and Reminisce About All came out close to each other, but most (that I know) say it’s Reminisce About All..

The one you said looked like Keonhee is actually Xion's twin, Dongmyeong. But, the fandoms (ToMoon and Weve) often joke about Keonhee having 3 twins : Xion, Dongmyeong and Yunho from Ateez 😂. His sweetness is real. He's literally sunshine on Earth lmao. We also often say that Dongmyeong and Xion are like the Sun and the Moon for that exact reason (even tho Xion can be super sweet and Dongmyeong can be a little shit lmao)
The one who doesn't have an instrument is Yonghoon, the eldest, his voice is just out of this world and I have no idea which song I could use as an exemple because all of them are just that good. Also, he actually plays piano and guitar but he usually only sings for their songs (sometimes he does play the guitar tho)

Yes it is their debut. But their debut as Onewe. They were actually already a band before that (known as MAS9400, I think, for Make A Sound and the eldest is a 94 liner while the youngest are 00 liners)
Regulus and Rain to be were written by Kanghyun (guitar boy) and Regulus was inspired by The Little Prince (he's a huge bookworm btw)

I know you say that you don't like slow songs... but some of their ballads are so damn BEAUTIFUL that it may change your mind. I definitely recommend Aurora (my favorite song of theirs and Yonghoon's voice is perfection!). They write their own lyrics as well as compose and produce their songs. They're insanely talented and criminally underrated!
And also, 'Still Here' hits more for Weve (fandom name) because two of the members are actually enlisted in the military right now and the song released while they're there. Yonghoon (Leader and Main Vocalist and the one who doesn't hold an instrument despite knowing how to play several) and Kanghyun (Guitarist who also plays multiple instruments).
Thanks for reacting to them! I originally followed them due to their connection to Oneus, but became a Weve after 'A Book in Memory' came out. The amount of times that I replayed that song when it first came out was ridiculous lol. Literally played it at least half a dozen times a day. They have an amazing discography and Yonghoon's voice is one of my two favorites in all of K-Pop (alongside Seoho from Oneus).
I really feel what you said.... A book in Memory is probably still my favorite Onewe song 😭♥️ there's just something about Yonghoon's songs.... 🥺 and Yonghoon and Seoho are my favorite vocalists, too 😍

so onewe are a self formed(!) and self producing band
their formation story is out of a drama really, but that's for another time
so I'm both tomoon and weve, I love both groups, I know a lot about both groups
oneus are heavily involved into their songs production yes
but onewe are involved into their music making process even more, they are almost completely self producing - they are main creators of all their songs except just one or two - and even in creation of these songs they stil participated hugely
ring on my ears (ROME) is indeed a song from their debut album but it's not a debut title track - their debut is reminisce about all
ROME is a cya's song (bassist, rapper, pronounced key-ah), it's about performing, about passion and love that u have towards music
regulus and rain to be are both their guitarist's kanghyun's songs
regulus is based on the little prince book and rain to be was born out of their local joke (often when onewe have schedules it's raining so they are the boys who bring the rain - it's a Korean title of rain to be)
still here is a special song, it's yonghoon's song (main vocalist, leader, usually with no instrument but in some mvs he appears with an acoustica/electric guitar and also he can play piano, also he's one of the best vocalists out there, his voice is heavenly, he's so skilled and his vocal range is insane)
this song was prepared specially for fans before yonghoon and kanghyun enlisted
dongmyeong(pianist/keytarist, 2nd vocalist) and harin(drummer) write and compose songs too
also when we say it's 'this member's' song it usually means that this member came up with the most of the song and gave a general idea but others do participate in creating of it - like harin comes up with drumming, cya writes his rap verses and adds his bass riffs, others help with lyrics etc etc
also I laughed when u said if dongmyeong is keonhee's brother
u see it's a local joke that keonhee's a lost brother of xion and dongmyeong, they all really look alike esp to newer fans, I myself used to mix up keonhee's and xion at first too
also I wanted to say that I'm not really a ballady person too but onewe's ballads are something else I love them so much
they really create masterpiece after masterpiece, their whole discography is truly golden

Hi Lena and thank you for reacting to Onewe! This was a lovely surprise, this morning when I woke up. Do I want to see more reactions from you? Sure! Onewe are one of my favorite groups. I wasn't expecting you to like them this much and I'm really happy that you do. They compose their own lyrics and music and are self-formed so they have a big hand in everything they do.
They have lots of ballads, and I'm not a ballad-y person myself, but I gladly make an exception for them because their lyrics are so poetic and their vocals so emotional they never "bore" me. Check out Star, Universe, Parting.
As someone who likes harder hitting songs or upbeat songs I recommend Aurora, Montage, End of Spring and Veronica (my daughter's name!).
But my favorite track of theirs so far is A book in memory. It makes me cry every time and the composition is surprising. Check it out, if/when you can.
Still here means a lot to Weve because Yonghoon (main vocalist and my bias) and Kanghyun (guitarist) recently enlisted. 😭😭 However, they anticipated they'd recorded plenty of stuff to keep us engaged while they're gone. Personally, I didn't know that stuff would include a new song release and I'm very happy with it!
Everyone in the comments told you that confusing Keonhee with Dongmyeong's twin is extremely common and it's an inside joke between Oneus and Onewe, so it is absolutely normal to make that "mistake." BTW Dongmyeong is a sweet person who cries at concerts, but he's also very sassy and incredibly funny.

I love the fact that you reacted to OneWe! I highly recommend you check out "Last Song" Which is a song where both OneUs and OneWe both collaborate and it's amazing. Another OneWe song that I highly suggest is "Veronica" and "Aurora". All three are up your alley and that will definitely impress you and make you love them even more.
I feel you all are forgetting A Book In Memory. I love that song and MV. The lyrics are as beautiful as they all are. I can say that their albums are no skip and always in my top 5 of each year. I think I had Parting on repeat for 6 months straight. Yonghoon has the voice of an angel. Never tire of people reacting to them and falling in love like we all do.
And..We need to give all the love to Harin, the best handy-man drummer ever.

ONEWE are such a gem to find. Fyi, two members, Younghoon (main vocal that u love), and Kanghyun (guitarist), have just enlisted last month, so it's kinds presumed that this will be their last comeback for a while unfortunately. HOWEVER, this also gives you time to check out their stuff before they comeback lmao. Our fandom name is 'weve' btw. These are some kbands that I recommend for you- The Rose, N.Flying, LUCY, Hoppipolla, Xdinary Heroes (my fave lol), and off Day6 who are easily (in my opinion) the most popular kband. Thank you so much for checking out Onewe! They and Oneus are some of my favorite boy groups and I feel like they are so underrated! All of the members have participated in the lyrics and composition of their songs. It's actually really cool since you can start to tell which member primarily wrote each song as they have their own styles. "AuRoRa" is my favorite song of theirs but the one that first got me into the group is "Parting". They have covered so many styles (rock, ballad, jazz-y, dance, etc) and are just so talented

I just wanna add that I saw a comment that said that Still Here is written from fans point of view about how they will about Yonghoon and Kanghyun going to military. That is why this song is very emotional for WEVEs (fandom).
Also, literal translation for Rain to Be is The boy who brings rain which reffers to their inside joke that rain always follows them. As they say, whenever they go to film something or when they have concert, it rains. It even rained when they were filming Rain to Be.
Fun fact: Rain to Be won a poll for Best kiling dance part.

Ring on my Ears: Written by CyA (Pronounced 'key-ah', Bassist), it's about performing on stage. The phrase "Ringing on my Ears" is actually about his earrings hitting his cheek as he bounces around on stage.
Regulus: Written by Kanghyun (Guitarist) based on "The Little Prince", part of a whole "Space Series" written by Kanghyun
Rain to Be: Also written by Kanghyun, it's actually an in-joke between WEVE (fandom) and ONEWE because every time ONEWE has a schedule, it rains. The Korean title translates to "The boy who brings rain" and it casts ONEWE as the boy and WEVE as the rain.
Still Here: Written by Yonghoon (vocalist), it was released a little bit after he and Kanghyun started their military enlistment (Yonghoon is 4 years older than the next oldest, and Kanghyun had long since decided to enlist around the same time as him to just get it out of the way. Our beloved Leader Line!) and it's just the softest song about how we miss each other. Especially the lyric "I must be missing you...I might become a complete mess" *cries* he was writing this imagining how he'll feel in the military when the song is released and that he'd be missing WEVE.
