Cringeworthy Police Impersonation Arrest of Jefrey Scott Schultz

  • On March 8, 2017 Jefrey Scott Schultz was pulled over by a Doraville, Georgia police officer after he flew past a stopped school bus. As the traffic stop progressed Schultz asked, "No courtesy? You can't exercise courtesy for me?" - requesting that he not receive a ticket because he is a police officer.
Pressed for basic information about his job (specifically, the police department he was claiming to be affiliated with) Schultz refused to answer, literally replying "I can't tell you" and referencing twenty-seven years of experience as he stood there looking a bit ridiculous in a 'thin blue line' hat.
Watch and see how the stop progresses. The truth about Schultz is revealed at the end of the video.
Want to see body worn camera footage of Schultz’s arrest at his house the next day? Real World Police has you covered: tiny.cc/impersonatorarrest

I ended up resisting arrest, tasing myself, and cuffing & stuffing myself. After that I gave myself bond, so I'm out for the moment. Trial is coming up and I have to impersonate a judge, jury, and attorneys. It's going to be a busy week, I just hope I don't throw the book at me. How many hundreds or thousands of times so cops get out of tickets simply by saying "courtesy" or instead of pulling out their driver license they pull out their LEO card.

The ultimate dream job and life goal of those types is obtaining a position of power and authority, making "Law Enforcement Officer" the most appealing career choice. After they fail, they usually take the next best thing and become a security guard, an armed one if they can manage it.

I'll explain why this is, at least with me. I give citizens warning all day long. I usually only cite: assholes, liars or someone with a record a mile long that clearly hasn't learned. When someone genuinely seems like they just made a mistake, then they made a mistake. People are human, shit happens, bad days. I, as an officer, try to drive my best and I'm not perfect either. So, when I stop an officer, I assume they normally try their best too. I write their name down in note pad on my laptop and if I don't stop them again within 6 months I delete it. Does that make sense? It's a courtesy, it's not corruption. It would be corruption if that courtesy was not extended to anyone else but officers and that's not the case. Anyways, stay safe.
