The wheel is probably in "Race" mode which results in a loud motor noise. Switch to "Offroad" mode and the motor will be much quieter. The New York guys installed those front pads way too forward. Mine are vertical and don't extend past the front of the shell - maybe try that.

How does it compare to the Lynx? It’s odd that that there hasn’t been any noteworthy comparisons between the two, especially since they are the top dogs. In opinion, the Lynx wins, because of what Leaperkim was able to accomplish in the power to weight ratio.
All the other EUCs seem to be bloated with dumb tech. Anyone can throw big batteries in a EUC, but not too many can harness maximum power with minimal weight
I think the Lynx is more versatile as it is super capable off road where I can not see the ET Max being able to do the same since it is 20lbs heavier and the battery boxes appear to be pretty close to the ground which will cause clearance issues.

I believe it doesn’t have an air chamber I believe there’s nitrogen on the reservoir for the shock not to be tampered with

I think i remember Roger and Dawn guys mentioning the sounds being there when its in that high new speed or race mode thing with the firmware. Magnetic field weakening stuff. 🤷♂️ . Also were the front pads upsidedown and on the wrong sides? I feel like that flat part that you have on the top of your pads is supposed to be like a “toe pad”.

Imo all Begode wheels can't be beat in the esthetic department. They make the most robust, aggressive looking wheels on the market. They just look fast and powerful.
Lately yes they have a similar look and feel.
Thanks for the quick impressions of this EUC, I've been eyeing it. The ET Max or V13 for more road type riding, I won't be doing off road. Which one has the lower pedal? Which has faster acceleration? Thanks Duf!

The chamber has nitrogen in it usually, it keeps the oil under pressure and stops the oil from aerating/foaming... the reservoir also allows greater movement of the piston in the damper without the shock tube exploding or popping out seals. Somewhere 'extra' for excess pressure to go.
Patton is more versatile IMO, so far
