That's all you need to know. She has a really wide vocal range. She can hit it high, she can hit it low. So stop doubting and start listening.
They're talking about how high it is because 1. It's the highest she's ever belted 2. Her voice was really damaged after the Neon Lights Tour and people are surprised she could recover from that.

He's stood by her through it all & they've remained friends throughout the years. Its isn't like he is just reaching out now that he has an album coming out. Also, if people have forgotten, Demi rode the Jonas coat tail. They brought her along for the ride. They were a major factor in her early work(not just because of Disney too). They genuinely wanted her to succeed & did everything they could to always provide her with opportunities.

I can certainly preface that this song will be on repeat for awhile. Demi is so vocally versatile and has unbelievable mastery of dynamics , and Nick is such an amazing songwriter. The two of them together is beyond words. Love them both so much :)
It's funny...and kinda sad how people are saying Nick is using Demi for fame...I think they may be getting the story twisted. Selena is the fame whore, not Nick or Demi (sorry Selena fans, it's true, I really am sorry though). These guys have been great friends for _YEARS_, why the hell in God's name would he choose to "use" her now? It's not like he's struggling...he makes his own money and is in the tabloids without Demi (unless it's an article about their collaborations). But other than that, Nick is doing his own thing, and Demi's doing hers. I swear, when did youtube commenters become so stupid? This is so damn perfect. Top notes of Demi put me goosebumps. I think I prefer a thousand times that Ariana and Demi, Demi makes me feel many emotions in a song and Ariana, and only sings well, but Demi puts more feeling.
