They definitely had a lot of stuff, but literally everything I saw was significantly overpriced. Like F-Zero on Gamecube at $119? I sell that at my shop for $75 - $80 complete. And those famicom and famicom disc system games were priced just ridiculous. and $250 for a Sega Sport edition Dreamcast?? I literally just sold one complete with the controller for $169.
Amazing to see so much stuff in one spot, but it's easy to pile up an amazing selection like that when you're pricing things so high they never sell.
I guess calling something overpriced is relative. If they're selling enough of it to keep the shop running for all those years then they are clearly successful and no hate on them. I sure couldn't look at my customers with a straight face charging those prices though

I have two MVS 4-SLOT cabs, a boxed Neo Geo CDZ (region modded), and a Hilton Hotel AES in box. Essentially, it's the same as any Neo Geo but the box is all white with orange stripes. My white box Neo Geo AES is the only one I have ever seen out in the wild and I got it in 2009 for 200 bucks. It came with all the cords, 2 original arcade stick controllers, and Ghost Pilot.
Addendum- The store was nice but the prices were incredibly high. I still would have bought something from their Neo Geo stuff as it's really hard to find but wow...my local retro store has better deals.

Mannnnn there are so many quality retro stores in the area. Retro madness and game over video games are near the area where you guys were at.
There is also a bbq place right in the retro palooza area called jambos which is excellent. I should have posted something sooner when you were down here. Bahhh

I would have gotten that SEGA Astrocade unit. But great video as always!

Tiger R-Zone!? That’s a name I haven’t heard in a minute. I remember “kid me” being so frustrated with that purchase.

As a Dallas native I’m glad you had a good time. That Babes chicken is way nicer where you went then my usual one in garland. Was that the one in Carrollton?

Retro Madness had a booth at REtropalooza. Cool to see!

  • @The.Original.Potatocakes

The last store the prices were alittle high but I would easily spend 500$ in there.

Man Chips are expensive in the States almost like Canada, I figured they would be way cheaper or chipper? :)

All of a sudden I wish I still had my R-Zone lol. That thing was terrible. I can't believe anyone would pay $80 for it
