How much does it cost to buy food for the whole week in Switzerland? Is it true that it is so expensive here? How to save on shopping in Switzerland? #switzerland #shopping #saving #migros
Thank you so much for the video! I'm from Costa Rica and the prices are the same, the only higher one was the chicken. Now I fell much better because I will be traveling to your country in September so now I understand better Migros! Thank you
Very informative video, Thank you so much for your grocery tour, i learned today using the barcode device, best of luck for your future videos. Stay blessed
@@mariyaivanina Hi, what I meant was that the information you provided I could compare the differences. Switzerland is much more expensive in everthing. Thanks.
Cool, thank you for the comment! I'm glad that our Swiss prices are just a bit more expensive:) it's interesting to know which product categories were much more expensive than in the US?
Thank you! I'd say that Lidl is the cheapest, but Lidl has much fewer shops in Switzerland than Migros and Coop. Migros M-Budget brand's and Coop qualite Prix brand's food are just of the same price as you would buy in Lidl
hi mariya what is your work in switzerland can you help find some company about skilled worker like hvac technician or refrigeration ang airconditionig technician thanks for sharing your video
Hi I am Saravana from india in tamilnadu.i have a vegetable items, rice and flower also available.i am interested to export but no order.if you give to order .I will send to there
what do you mean by meat is expensive because it is extremely high quality ? Switzerland is all expensive and NOT BEING in the European Community I am not really sure they check food as well as in the rest of Europe
I can't say that I'm totally aware of the Swiss standards compared to the EU, but from what I read, they have high standards in treating and feeding animals, curing in case of illnesses. But I also agree, that the price is really high and could be similar to EU food:)
i also didn't read the EU and Swiss regulations, but we tried to pass a law where all imported food would need to be the same quality as swiss made and we almost unanimously voted against it bc we would barely be able to import anything at all. European regulations are usually also very good tho but animal happyess is usually a lot worse in regions like hungary, rumania and so on.
I think that the Swiss Food Standards are the same or higher than in EU. We live close to the Austrian Border, i go sometimes Shopping there, and in Vacations sometimes in Italy and Germany. I my personal Opinion the Swiss Standard when it comes to Food is higher and it has less Sugar and is more natural than in the Countries around us.
@@mariyaivanina can I ask you what is your opinion about Spar supermarket , because I have job offer where only Spar is closest to my work in the village and I read in internet is very expensive than Migros ?
I rechecked, I can pay with any cash money at the self checkouts:) Regarding Spar, I don’t have it somewhere nearby, so didn’t visit it, but from what I heard, it’s more expensive, definitely

Most prices in US are about the same or higher, except meat & poultry. But the level of life is incomparable.
Thank you for the comment! It's interesting that some prices in US are higher, I thought Swiss prices are the highest:)
@@mariyaivanina yes, and I'm living in an average state in an average suburb of a major city.
@@ProdigyMan88 Thank you for the info!
I think that the Swiss outrank USA in social and medical benefits, not to mention way less gun violence...
I visited Texas recently and I was shocked. It was the same as in Switzerland where I live. The quality, though, is totally different.
