People talking about that combo at the end. It was to show one thing. When faced with an extremely proficient kicker, you get close and use your elbows. That way you effectively neutralize any kicking the opponent does.
I'm not entirely sure but I believe the nails fighter is Kenji Tanigaki, fight choreographer of the live action Rurouni Kenshin films which has some of the best sword sequences ever filmed.
You need great supporting casts to make your main character look good.. they all did great! Not a single word is needed, the facial expressions and the fights says it all!!! Great job actors/fighters!
Wu Jing and Andy On always bring us the best fights=) This one and the fight between Collin Chou and Donnie Yen in Flashpoint are my favorites:) Oh and the final fight in SPL II:D
I've been a fan of Wu Jing for years and am now very excited to repeat confirmed news that he's joining the cast of "THE MEG 2: THE TRENCH" with JASON STATHAM!!!!! Long overdue!!!!! There's so many talented stars overseas who deserve more love here in the U.S., and it's good to see them starting to get that love!!!!
I've always felt this entire sequence feels like something right out of a fighting game - better and more authentically than any ACTUAL fighting game movie/show adaptation I have ever seen, either.
@@deonteesmiley7685 I love both The Raid movies and their spiritual successor The Night Comes For Us; in the commentary for the first movie, the director actually talks about structuring the order of fights like progression in a video game.
@DatDatsun yeah and everybody would have a personal unique style and people would run around challenging each other to kung fu duels all the time. would be pretty cool
its kinda like king of fighters style 3 on 3 team stuff i think. also like street fighter ex 3 when u either accept defeated fighters into your team or you dont .
Wolf warrior wasn't no better 1 or 2 😂. Have you seen the ratings for them? He's been in good movies too, the SPL series for one his iconic fight between donnie yen in the alley.
to be honest, amercian didnt really make a movie with good long choreography fight. plus, movie of america care to much about safety, not that it is bad. but it doesnt look as real. If u watch donnie yen flashpoint, where he fight colin chou, that fight is awesome with every hit seem to be real.
I have honestly never ever seen anyone use there elbow in the way he did, truly master of combat, awesome

Yep. It's a good way to close in on someone with kicks like that and punish them.

The elbow combo in the last fight is fuckin awesome
One of the the best martial arts fight scene ever seen of my life
I have this movie on DVD sitting somewhere in my collection. Its a movie that never gets old.
You need great supporting casts to make your main character look good.. they all did great! Not a single word is needed, the facial expressions and the fights says it all!!! Great job actors/fighters!
Gotta love Wu Jing's innocent facial expressions
Wu Jing and Andy On always bring us the best fights=) This one and the fight between Collin Chou and Donnie Yen in Flashpoint are my favorites:) Oh and the final fight in SPL II:D
Wu Jing is the latest big thing in the martial arts movie genre.... This guy is good. He's a great martial artist and should do more movies.
That Combo at 5:12 is absurd...fuckin nuts
I've been a fan of Wu Jing for years and am now very excited to repeat confirmed news that he's joining the cast of "THE MEG 2: THE TRENCH" with JASON STATHAM!!!!! Long overdue!!!!! There's so many talented stars overseas who deserve more love here in the U.S., and it's good to see them starting to get that love!!!!
I loved the fight scenes and the film. But really, the ending pisses me off!
me too. it's too disgusting and discomforting.
Sad reality ....

What a great fight scene. 👍👍
I've always felt this entire sequence feels like something right out of a fighting game - better and more authentically than any ACTUAL fighting game movie/show adaptation I have ever seen, either.
I looked at this scene as an example of the SNK King of Fighters game.
You would love The Raid then g
I agree. The Raid movies are amazing
@@deonteesmiley7685 I love both The Raid movies and their spiritual successor The Night Comes For Us; in the commentary for the first movie, the director actually talks about structuring the order of fights like progression in a video game.

Andy in here reminds me of Lee Chaolan from Tekken
If Wu Jing ever came to the U.S. to make martial arts films he'd be the next big thing.
1 of my all time favorites. But the ending & what led to it is why i won't watch the full movie again. Couldn't see her do that to herself anymore...
@DatDatsun yeah and everybody would have a personal unique style and people would run around challenging each other to kung fu duels all the time. would be pretty cool
It's not. It's choreographed but it's nice though. 3:42 is Sanshou though,

Agreed. Wu Jing needs to be in better movies like Wolf Warrior etc.
Wolf warrior wasn't no better 1 or 2 😂. Have you seen the ratings for them? He's been in good movies too, the SPL series for one his iconic fight between donnie yen in the alley.
Nice C-C-Combo breaker into an Ultra combo there
