Do you know that the Wrexham promotion has been broadcast on every major TV network, and in every major newspaper or streaming news here in the States? We are so in love with your town and the people, congratulations Wrexham!!!
Here in Florida I've been on this journey for a little less than three seasons , my friends and I all had tears in our eyes when that whistle blew. There isn't a town or team that deserve this more. Well done come on you reds up the town !!!!
Deserved Champions , Manager ,Players, Staff and most of all the supporters of WAFC .Watch out EFL2 will conquer the league , We are the CHAMPIONS COYR
It pisses me off that this was before the smartphone era, when you could take a picture or video of anything, but I was living in Sicily in 2006, the year Italy won the World Cup. I immediately went to to the beach, where pretty much everyone congregated. There was one dude who brought his drum kit, and was sat on top of a Transit van drumming away, countless people who brought all kinds of musical instruments, there was partying everywhere until daylight the next day. My most vivid memory of that night was this beat up car passing by, with the colours of the Italian flag paint sprayed on its sides, and at least a dozen people on top of it. As it passed, very slowly, the people on top were bouncing up and down on this delipidated wreck of a car, singing 'We are the Champions' in perfect English, and it still gives me goose pimples thinking of it. Listening to this video is the closest thing I have to that night. I wish Wrexham all the best.
I would like to thank you for this & the yma o hyd video, dad fell ill 2 days after this match and unfortunately passed away after that. It's so nice to be able to see him enjoy himself in the stands after seeing his team gain promotion back to the football league. Onwards and Upwards - Up The Town!
I am so sorry to hear that. I am glad that I managed to capture an important memory for you and for your dad, also that he got to see us back in the league.
Was it the gentleman in the red cap near the stairs? If it was he is a lovely man he used to come with his brother (I think) and as I am new to that side of the ground, they were so welcoming and kind I used to sit with them post match and have a good old chat!
@@wrexhamisthename thanks a million, no not him, since your zoom lens on your phone is brilliant, he was sitting in the macron stand beneath rob and ryan - will look forward to getting back there this season myself
Ah I see, there are a few videos on here where I have zoomed into the crowd during the goals this season, so hopefully, you can see a few more. Once again, I am so sorry for your loss.
Just in owner Ryan Reynolds has just sold the team to a Saudi investor who will be moving the team to London so the rich folk can enjoy it, lol. Congrats boys, on to the Premier Leauge

I love seeing stories like this Carol! We were sleeping giants, but now thanks to Rob and Ryan our town and our people are everywhere! Warms my heart.
That's great! So nice to hear about something uplifting as well, on both sides of the pond, rather than the usual litanies of disaster. 😊👏
@@wrexhamisthename We’re truly happy for Wrexham and are now devoted fans of the team!. 👋 from Washington, DC.
