Yeah it's supposed to be an intimate self-reflection of one's personal pain of love and loss. Even with the electronics, it's still still like a discovery of how things are not supposed to be and also realizing that they're doing the best they can without losing themselves and repeating what they've found they kept doing and that they just have to keep looking forward, but it's all internal, and not a shout out to the world. Becky is great but not for that song
