I am so angry that this pair hasn't become canon. Kishimito said he wanted to make it happen, but the homophobic editors were against it. NaruHina & SasuSaku magically happening in one movie makes no sense whatsoever. Meanwhile, this pair is the only one throughout the whole series that had time to develop. Naruto practically ignored Hinata and called her weird while Sasuke verbally abused Sakura every chance he got and even tried to kill her on several ocassions. It's a shame we live in such a hetero-normative world.

This is isn't fair, like just because of homophobia, Kishimoto couldn't make the only true pairing in the manga/anime. Sasusaku and Naruhina just magically appeared.
He should of just did it for the dub release. America is a little more gracious and open minded to same sex. However in my opinion the entire naruto universe revolves around sasunaru for over 80% of the show. 10% for sasunaru gaining power strength and abilities and knowledge. 5% for the other characters that start becoming more reoccurring in shippuden. 2% on both the relationships of sasusaku and naruhina. And 3% on the actual battles that showcase the minor abilities of all side characters. While the storyline is great and fillers annoying though fun to watch. The anime itself literally just focuses on sasunaru or narusasu for most of the time. The other characters are pushed back and get Barely any screen time. I honestly don’t care what the editors said. Kishimoto should of made naruto and sasuke relationship canon. No matter the controversy of it. To be honest I prefer reading the doujinshis and watching the amvs people make the sasunaru or narusasu chats and all that or reading fanfic on these two. You can tell they love each other on a deeper level then just best friends and brothers. I mean sasuke literally tries to kill Sakura at least three times and almost let her die numerous times cuz he didn’t care about her like that and when it came to life and death situations he chose naruto over Sakura and kakashi. The only reason they were saved from madaras infinite tsukinomi is because they were near naruto at the time. If they weren’t there sasuke would of just saved naruto.
