- Blaupunkt SBW-01 Dolby Bluetooth Soundbar this is a 2.1 channel soundbar it also has a sub woofer bluetooth connectivity it's a 80 Watt system the soundbar is 30W and the subwoofer is 50 watts it also has HDMI ARC and optical input apart from standard line in input but is this any good find out in this video review.

I have been using balupanuknt speakers from long time for my car . Recently (2017 sep) purchased sbw 01 boldy speakers at the price of 6299 (BBD sales) and the performance is simply👌. The Only con is BT range is bit low

comparing this soundbar to jbl's soundbar which you reviewed 1 month ago which one is good in loudness and for watching movies
I got for 5,000 in November 2019.
After using for nearly 2 years, I have no problem with this sound bar. I am not a audio guy, and use this for TV viewing only. It's awesome. (The HDMI ARC has not given me a problem even once. The buzz sound or anything is not there.)

Ranjit bhai, if the surround speakers wire are getting short, will sound quality decrease/warranty expire if we add a 14 gauge wire in between?
You can use it wont create a problem..... In-fact for my 5.1 old setup I didn't use the supplied audio cables went with high quality third party cables for the speakers.

@@ashi6233 Dialogues are perfectly audible 👍 Bass is super impressive. In case you have an audio setting in ur TV avoid using the bass one and keep it mid-range. That way dialogue clarity will be better.
However, the remote has settings to tweak bass and treble that ranges from minus 5 to plus 5. I prefer using plus 5 on treble and zero on bass for dialogues oriented audio. For music I keep (0-3) treble and (0-5) bass, depending on what is playing.

@@HemanthKumarn612 Dolby Atmos is itself a world class audio experience. Naturally it comes out well if the speaker is top class. I would suggest using optical line for complete Dolby experience. HDMI cable is 2nd Best choice. If u connect through Bluetooth or Aux cable, then u might not get to experience the optimal range of Dolby Atmos to it's fullest. This method is same for any speaker. Always optical Fibre gives best results in audio and video.
Go for Blaupunkt 160. Boad avante has heavy base but there is a slight noise added along with base.
I bought Blaupunkt this month, it is super awesome.

I have been using this for 2 months now and I COMPLETELY agree with your review. The bass is very loud and the sound does not distorts at even high volumes. As my 2012 model Samsung Smart TV does not support HDMI ARC so I never used that function. So never got to know about the bug also. I am using it via an optical cable. All in all, sound mattered more for me and I'm happy that I made a good decision. 😊
I had purchased this one for Rs. 7500/- from flipkart last month and was quite impressed by the look of it. I had faced problems connecting it in the HDMI mode, asked for a replacement, which also was worse and not connecting in the HDMI mode. I finally had to return it.

Even having that issue with optical out...sometimes sound stops coming out of the woofer due to connection issue. But sound quality for 5 r 6 K is very good.

Guys if you want to connect a sound bar to TV, go for something with HDMI arc/optical audio options. Quality of sound is on another level compared to analog/aux/RCA
Aman Ahluwalia not necessary! Depends on the source of the audio and the speaker quality and the DAC...! But mostly if it is for tv viewing u are right ! If only for music ... then it is debatable!

I am using this speaker since a month with Mi TV 4 through HDMI (ARC). I am not facing any buzz noise or something that u faced with this speaker, sound out put via HDMI (ARC) is really awesome but I have switched off Dolby output on TV because speaker itself has Dolby encoder in it & my Mi TV 4 Remote itself can handle speaker volume if it is connected through HDMI Cable... But surround sound is not good... I felt Movie preset is giving better output.. Base is really awesome it literally vibrates my room Door & windows... Over all I am satisfied with this Speaker... Thanks for your Review...
Hey harish, can you tell what brand hdmi cable you purchased? Apart from this , what about the clarity of the sound bar , does it match well with mi TV 4 ?
@@keithveigas I am using Tizum Fusion 2M HDMI 2.0 Cable, you can get it from amazon, Sound bar works great with Mi TV 4, TV Remote is enough to operate sound Bar, HDMI ARC Connectivity is working fine with the TV, Even Bluetooth also works great no noise and delays, You can go for it.. I suggest you to turn off Dolby on TV while using HDMI ARC connectivity with Sound Bar.

I own the mi TV 55 , and now the blaupunkt soundbar can be brought at 4500rs, was planning to buy it. How's the subwoofer base, is it having any separate power connection? @@keithveigas I have not tried using optical cable, as Mi TV dosen't have optical port. Subwoofer base is really powerful deep bass and it is awesome, There is No any external power supply, as power supply unit is placed inside & middle of the sound bar, Yes, When you switch on Your TV, Sound Bar starts working automatically but you have to atleast press any one volume buttons on MI TV remote.
@@HarishSReddy do you own the mi TV 4 55? Any idea what's the issue with tV's Dolby output synchronising with the soundbar? It doesn't happen to work? Cause the blaupunkt Dolby soundbar expects the same Dolby input I believe. Please elaborate if you have any idea about it.

I bought this soundbar a month ago. The HDMI ARC works absolutely fine, no bugs. I think the problem is with this particular unit. Overall, the soundbar is awesome at this price range.
Brother did u not experience any problem with this soundbar when connected via hdmi arc.... Planning to buy a budget soundbar confused with blaupunkt and jbl 2.0 sound bar... Only problem with this is hdmi arc.. Is that working fine.. Pls let me know..
@@arshacl6211 Yes, the HDMI ARC works absolutely fine. No issues with the sound bar. You can go for the Blaupunkt sound bar, the best you can get in this price range.

After using for one week i am writing this review. This bar type speaker from Blaupunkt comes with HDMI Arc, Optical SPDIF, Bluetooth and normal co-axial connectivity. It basically a 2.1 Channel speaker and comes with remote which is of cheap quality. Pack consists of Aux-in cables, two AAA sized battery for remote, analog cables, Sub-woofer and bar speaker.
I have LG Lh604T 32 inch smart tv, it has all the required connectivity option like Hdmi arc or Optical spdif only the bluetooth is missing. First i connected with HDMI ARC , nothing works, then Optical one, it works perfectly and the sound was decent enough for the price. After using for two days, one day while pausing and playing some movie in Netflix the sound was on peak volume, i did'nt increase the volume..it went high on its own. I tried for more like this and it showed same problem everytime. Another problem i was facing was, sometime the sound was getting totally blank. It went on and off . So, got the replacement unit, i was shocked to see that the replacement unit having same problem like the first one.
Flipkart has helped me to get the refund..so guys please don't buy this home threatre..it has got lots of problem. Avoid it guys

Hi Ranjit ! I've been having this speaker for a while now more than 6 months I guess. I used to connect it to my Panasonic Shinobi Pro and later I switched my TV to the MiTV 4. I connected via the HDMI ARC to both the TVs and I did not face this audio interference that you mentioned of. The only time I did face this was while using my PS4 and changed the audio to Dolby. Changing the audio to PCM did fix the issue. But all the other times while switching on and off the Dolby on my Mi TV 4, I've never faced such an issue. Can you check the speaker that you're having with another TV and see if the issue persists ? Another issue that I faced while using this speaker was that the Bluetooth range is messed up. Even if the Bluetooth device let it be my phone or my google home was close to the speaker (not always but at times) tends to break or misses out on the audio.
I have been using this sounds for a year now, Works fine with coaxial or toslink cable. Doesn't work well with HDMI. Can't use it for more than 5 to 6 hours on a hot day, the sound bar heats up and stops working for a short while until it cools down. Remote quality is bad. After sales support is from Envent and it is pretty good.

Wishing you a happy independence day. It's nice but make a video on any Phillips or sony sound bar or speaker with honest review. I want to buy best speakers or bar for my new Samsung TV
Subwoofer stopped working after few months of usage and Envent the service provider arranged for reverse pickup as it is in warranty and yet to get replacement product. Takes very long time since I raised complaint about 10- 12 days back and replacement product yet to get dispatched. Looks most of the them r buggy so they are giving it for such less price. The bug is not just with HDMI even problem with optical connection also as it's keeps making some hissing background noice all the time and Dolby digital is not supported under 3.5 mm output of TV so it's of no use. If u ask me don't go for it, instead u can buy Philips which comes in the range of 10-12K with Dolby digital plus with subwoofer and also JBL but yes u don't get subwoofer with JBL. When it comes to sound quality yes this is best for the price we are paying but need to compromise on the bugs it has and full of hassle with replacement and Service.
I have purchased it like 2months back and yes HDMI connectivity is a big issue, it couldn't connect to my tv via HDMI even tho i replaced the speaker so i had to purchase a optical cable ( 3.5mm cable is also fine ). Overall the speaker is good in this price range and i am happy with this. 😊
As per price range i would go with Logitech Z625. it has very loud sound than SBW 01..

Am using this sound bar for a year now. No other sound bar in this price range has HDMI ARC & optical input. I don’t get any buzzing sound while using HDMI ARC as he says in this video. Now I hv connected it to my Sony tv using a belkin optical cable. Only down side is the remote. Remote stopped working now and I am not getting a replacement.

You probably got a faulty unit as I'm using the same soundbar which I purchased a week ago with my Mi TV 4 (55") via HDMI ARC and it works flawlessly. Also the annoying sound problem while playback is paused and the remote problem that you addressed are not present in mine.
Only con that I feel in this product is that the Bass is a bit too boomy even when set at levels below 0 but again can't complain for the astounding price of 6k. This is a stellar product.

@@arshacl6211 Have been using the soundbar for over two months and haven't experienced any issues with the HDMI ARC connectivity. It has worked absolutely fine. Have only heard of issues with connectivity on online portals. This soundbar has turned out to be an absolute value for money.

Informative video. If you could stop repeating yourself about the HDMI ARC issue, it makes for a better video. You mentioned it in the cons once and that should be it. In my view, not having a working HDMI terminal is reason enough for me to return or reject the product cause after all, who would want to use a lower quality connection when HDMI audio return is available. Even for a 6k priced product, I think it’s unacceptable that HDMI does not work as designed.
