I think the Japanese versions do have some better lines, like Tiff's family complaining about the corny lines and dragged out scenes, but Dedede's dialogue in the english version plus the goofy music adds more to how ridiculously bad the production is. The Japanese version did the serious and emotional episodes more justice, but the comedy driven ones like this are better in the english one.
Doubtless, whenever anyone quotes this show, it's sure to be exclusively from the English dub of Dedede in particular, and confined to this episode specifically.
