I've not made a defense video in a little while so here it is! Lionel Rose at his best, an all time great Bantamweight champion and a fantastic masterful boxer. www.patreon.com/haNZAgod
Thank you for the continuous and consistent boxing knowledge!
haNZAgod Could you do a video for Tony “SuperBad” Harrison? 🙏🏿
Wow, this is one hell of a video, and the song choice was awesome. What is the song name.
Tyler Ross facts, hanza is le best
Unifono - Locked Up
Thank you for highlighting one the best Australian sports icons, he shows true courage and embodies the heart and spirit of Australia's great indigenous sports men and women.
Very well said!
This is why I subscribed to your channel , never heard of him till now can't believe my father never mentioned him . Again another gem great job 👍
Unbelievable defensive skills. Never heard of him either.
Same here bruh
I mentioned him on my live show on my channel. Trivia question was who was the youngest undisputed champion non heavyweight Lionel rose 20 years old.
One of the Most Underrated And Under Appreciated Channels on CZcams, Keep Going , We appreciate your Effort
One of the best footworks I have ever seen !
one of Australia's greatest
Watching Lionel reminds me there are multiple greats. Marciano was great stamina, his career was well judged, he was consistant and knew when he'd peaked.
Then there's guys like Lionel, who shone shortly, but you'd swear that their peak performance was higher than many more famous boxers. Watching him move is kind of hypnotic.
Geez his sense of awareness is awesome. He’s got the numbers of rhythm punching down!
I am interested in learning about indigenous/Aboriginal Australian boxers! I now know of Dave Sands and Lionel Rose! I hope to learn of more!
The mundines,Sam soloman for starters
And add hector thompson to the list. Class operator who fought the great Roberto Duran in panama
I most definitely appreciate the information!
@@mollylemonk great wee read that ,enjoyed it.cheers.
Lionel Rose was a truly great boxer.done Australia proud
That was indeed a good read! I totally forgot that Anthony Mundine was an Aboriginal Australian boxer! 🇦🇺
Lionel Rose the youngest undisputed champion of all time non heavyweight.
I like your videos. You have a great knack of blending them well with the music.
Hot music to go with his beautiful skill set.
Lovely movement. Wouldn't mind learning more about mr Rose
Yo Hanz, thanks for shining a light on some of the OG's we may have forgot about or never heard of before. ✊
His fight with Harada shows that lightweights never were less than the best of HW or other most famous cathegory
Wow his avoidance technique in the ring is amazing to watch...its right up there with the likes of Canelo...they have such similar styles of defense, Lionel obviously mastering that style long before Canelo was even born...what an amazing boxer back in his day! Proud to be aussie!
Lovely work. Hope you're keeping well, Dean. Stay safe!
His fight with Harada was beautiful to see.
His elusiveness, slips, and rolls reminds me of James Toney
Yeii boii lights out that's what I thought 💭
Thats where Toney, Sweet P and Floyd got it from
@@marthemachine2216 ... I never knew that. Thanks for that info.
@@jr1001jr no need to thank me bruh. Was just saying boxing is universal
@@marthemachine2216 thank for real; that was some good knowledge... its always a good thing when others share with you the history of certain things.
It helps me to trace back to see where everything started & see how it evolved & changed over time.
1:15 amazing parry counter
Beautiful, his counters are powerful and immediate as well.
Nice work. Appreciate it. Slick skills. Not enough people aware of him.
I had to hit the like button, this is one of the best highlight videos
Beautiful!
Wow what increadible movement and skills.
My last name is rose let's get it 😂👏🏽
Best Aboriginal boxer to ever live. He was like a smaller, lighter version of Sugar Ray Robinson.
Great Aussie hero!!!
I once had advice from Lionel, if you get in a fight at the Royal (the pub in Drouin) get on high side of the car park you're a foot taller...lol
I like his defense and Rolls
Never hears of him. Great video 👌
Never heard of this guy before but he looks impressive. I heard he's on the Whyte - Povetkin undercard.
How isn't this ATG in the HOF yet? also Olivares holds the best bantemweight resume
thanks for all your hard work @hanzagod
Awesome counter punching power.
Welsh/scouser alan rudkins in these clips fought rose, harada and olivares for the world title .how unlucky to fight that kind of class in your era.
Man you really gotta gives us your sound track
Unifono - Locked Up
Awesome video about another great boxer it didn't know! What is the song?
Unifono - Locked Up
LEGEND
He did it again
His has Ali's movement and defensive slips.
Nice video
3:04 that's the Archie Moore/ Ken norton Crab defense
The first and only aboriginal champion from Australia hector Thompson was a world class contender but Lionel rose was world bantamweight champion
AJ needs to look at film on this guy for head movement
What about Nicolino Locche.
This is dope I had never heard of him before but he had great movement I'm assuming he's aboriginal is he the first aboriginal champion or are there others before.
The first Aboriginal world champion
Could you please make a video of Frans "The White Buffalo" Botha? or Alex Schulz?. Great video as always! I'm going to see that fight with Harada
@haNZagod Have you think in the possibility of make a Spotyfi list with the songs of your videos? Could be sensational!
1:56 recognise this?
Shoulder roll technique.
This guy is brilliant
The way he does it with the step back reminds me of Canelo
@Dallas Don 230 yeah bro watch his fight against Trout... usually he does that when he disengages from the pocket.
Dallas Don 230 😭😂
Dallas Don 230 Orlando Canizales
👊👌
Song name?
Le Fez tryna find it now
Unifono - Locked Up
@@hanzagod thank you brother
Tough Aussie
Watch his fight with Harrada; it's a masterclass on bomb defusing. The guy smoked a pipe, too, while in camp, Mayorga style (though Mayorga did cigarettes).
what was in the pipe?
@@ItsBenRoyboy Performance enhancing tobacco.
@@kakonis really? Performance enhancing tobacco?
Lol
Great video, stil finding great fighters I've never heard of.i found George Benton a few month ago.i message Jeff mayweather,I'm suprised he never new much about him
Jeff is a good trainer but he's not a boxing historian. Generally speaking he knows a lot of guys from his own era but not many from any others.
Yeeeeeew 🇦🇺😁🤙🏽👌🏽👍🏽✌🏽🥊
What this song
Rubén Olivares dethroned him 50 years ago
80srocknroller 52-0-1 olivares was wen they fought
