This is Fredric Aasbø's new Toyota GT86. It was built in under 40 days and had to get ready to this years main Gatebil event. Sorry for the windnoise

Very very true sir, even a car built cheap because they know people will just mod it is a smart idea for sales and marketing for them as well. Could go both ways. I would love to see a new version of an inline-6 though!

Damn sorry for blowing up the comments. But any hate to this video of him not really pushing the car. Read the small description he said it a "under 40 day build." You think he just going to come out the pits stomping on the gas and just trying to break her? No he just talking it easy and calmly and enjoying the ride and feeling out his gear ratio and all that good stuff. So just enjoy the 2JZ ride along!

maybe you have never seen a drifting event but they are usually not a whole entire circuit, with all the cars going at once. drifting events are usually very small or fragments of courses and they always have two cars at a time in mini battles, in case you didn't know there is a difference between racers on a circuit with ride-alongs lol who are having fun drifting and a legit drifting event, welcome to the world of motorsports

Great car, wide track... it reacts so well to the tight corners and recovers with a slight touch of the throttle... GOOD JOB, RACE CREW!!!! + Combined with any great driver = kickass GoPro video... This guy is defenetly a Hero...
All of the linking was superb and this guy shows the fans a great time... Respect.
The end was quite smooth but still fast ass hell clutch kicking even at the end...

Is this the exact same GT86 than was in the Norwegian racing movie "Børning" from 2014? There was also the blue Cressida that drifted on the Nürburgring :D

Just cruising around getting a feel for my Under 40 day built GT86. I like it so far feels good nothing bad yet. Get some speed and throttle feel. Than 2:30 the 2jz is pedal to the medal and doing it's godly noise! Sick!

and to ad this car was build in 4 weeks, this was the first time he got to drive the car properly...

Im from norway and i heard this guy dont have a Engine in this car but an 700hp Nascar engine in this GT86
