While its definitely more fun to spam ''Rive'' in this build, i think directly spammin HH is much stronger at the end of the day. First of all, you get double cast of it every time because of talent alone and as a void knight, it will echo alot so... more damage and MUCH more ward. Can get to 60k range with good enough gear so you wont probably be getting 1 shot from 1k corrupton oryboss!
You definitely right..I dont know how far you can scale HH damage but for defense true its wayy more solid and overpower than rive..This my 1st char so I just try to push it as far as I can with gear and skill synergy it can fit..

Tough choices, i know. That being said, playing with Rive is much more... satisfying than directly using HH but sadly i have no room to fit Rive in my build:S I did level with it all the way to 70 something though!

Just swap sigil or volatile reversal for lunge and no need to despecialize. Base lunge is good enough for monos. Swap back sigil/reversal when bossing.
so, this is obviously a very very endgamy build. so far i only have a lvl 91 shaman but i dont like his playstyle too much and im looking to atleast push corrution high enough to unlock all blessings. how long would it take to create a 'beginners version' to basically get the theme going and start running monos comfortably? i dont care about speed clearing as long as its safe.
glove with affix health lose as ward and normal gear with affix strength and healing effectiveness on other gear is enough to go empowered ..you can start min max from there

thanks! if you not take traversal node you can manually click HH..its more safe but you need to sacrifice 1 slot skill so you can take traversal skill..
Two scenarios: 1. I don't have Frostbite Shackles, in which case i'm guessing I should just focus on STR while collecting items with cold res until I get them. 2. I have Frostbite Shackles but I can't seem to get it with LP or get experimental ward on it, in which case what would you suggest, play with either Exsanguinous armor, try to put some STR on it or with the Last Steps of the Living boots and suffer the chill effect ?
1.yes you can focus on str,healing effectiveness and cold rest 2.exsangunious armor sacrifice to much good stat for us...soo I suggest you use last steps 1st..if your att speed to low I suggest use normal experimental glove with melee speed and health to ward because ward retention from INT is enough below 400-500 corruption

I have tried jasper' searing pride, its give more damage but lack speed..so its hard to maintain ward..we also lost alot of ward retention that cleaver give from int..but its work you can play with jasper no problem^^

great build, I'm playing it now, but I have a question, why use rive to proc healing hand but not direactly use healing hand itself, especially channeling. Should the channeling healing hand still do a lot of damage and don't need to build attack speed and save you one skill specialise?
we lose attack speed and phy melee damage if you only use healing hand...HH also only crit by spell crit chance even you take seraph blade(i dont know its bug or intended) soo that alot of damage lose for this build..you need new build to proc 100% healing hand ability..its strong but that another playstyle..
You can't proc healing hands off of channeling abilities such as warpath, only the first hit procs. This is what I've heard a while back when I had the idea to do a warpath and healing hands build, but maybe they have fixed it since then.
@@Piemon HH is bugged and only crits off reg crit chance and not spell crit. It also scales off of cast speed and not melee speed. Both are bugs that have been in the game for years.

At about 700 on my Paladin. I was Forge Guard first but I was finding things slow at about 300. So far on the Paladin at 700 its still very easy. Curious to see when I hit the wall

Hey Piemon so I’m doing an echo rive healing hands build, lvl 95 and for some reason my ward maxes around 12-13k only. I have all healing effectiveness idols and some on my gear too. Any idea why?
@@69dugg yes..to scale your ward more u need more ward retention..we get this from weapon(axe) which give 1 str : 1 int(1 int :4% ward retention) and glove which give 1% ward retention per uncap cold res..I got 648% ward retention on my char..
So your damage comes from rive and not from HH ? That's why you stack phy damage ? If I ignore frostbite shackes and all the cold res, how much will it suffer corruption wise, will it do 600 ? The blessing that gives shred fire resistance is worse then increased fire damage ?
Damage come from both RIVE and HH..HH become melee if you take seraph blade node soo now its scale from melee and fire but sadly not from phys..about shred or increased fire, shred only effect if the monster have fire resistance. soo you doing more dmge at monster that have fire rest but not so much at monster that dont have fire resistance. increased fire damage will definitely increased your damage its a safe choice..600 seems fine without frost bite..u still can maintain 8-10k ward at echo..because now we have decent damage you can change any weapon to shield if you lack def in lower corruption
I never play paladin so Im not sure..for dmg this build mainly use melee phys and fire so its probably the same..and for utilty void have echo and anomaly which give more crit rate and cooldown reduction..I also interested to see paladin rive at high corruption soo we can compare it..
@@Piemon I use similiar build on paladin, only exception is that i have no points in VK passive tree and i use lunge as travel skill - only one point haha (you can buffer lunge right after volatile reversal to instantly fly to next monster even tho you went "back in time"). since i am not VK, i stack debuffs slower due to not having echo i think.. currently 600+ corruption but busy with other games, might push further soon
At 900 coruption everyting start to hurt you..so a little bit of block will help alot...I also take block chance at sigil..this help alot at 900++ corruption..sometime when I mistakenly take dodge mode, I change to shield and change again to dual wielding after the mode gone..you dont need all of this below 900 corruption..our ward itself if enough..

I used almost the same build with Forge Knight in the first 2 weeks (more damage focused though with Rive crit multi idols, FK Hammer and Anvil(dmg on bosses huge), Sigil Word of Power and with Ancient Reversal for even more stack of Void Rift dmg) reached 850 corruption, but for me the game got boring pretty fast and stopped investing time in it and the build.
You right..normaly block without block effectiveness is waste..but we have so much ward ...we just need a little bit of def so we not die in 1 hit..and when I take block at 900+ its help alot to not die...eventually its no use again when you go higher corruption
not recommended for hc as this build has very low ward at start..you can fix this by stacking health life as ward as high tier as you can..but that very2 endgame and to long to get it..
He isn't using broken prayer node, and even after the ward nerft, he will probably still have well over 6k ward. I've started to level a VK just to play this and i'm not expecting anything to chance this cycle, so another 1.5 month of playing this.

I'm a bit confused, why you need flamedrinker, but most damage is from healing hand, it's did FIRE damage not physical damage, so phy pen is no use?

I love sentinel and already playihng this build, but I have one question: why u get some Block Chance on passives?

He isn't using broken prayer node, and even after the ward nerft, he will probably still have well over 6k ward.
I've started to level a VK just to play this and i'm not expecting anything to chance this cycle, so another 1.5 month of playing this.
