- Aya'Leigh the Rainbow Elf first appeared in Video #36 (Sculpting) and was named on-screen by their sister Arinau the Herbal Healer in Video #51 (Boat Ride with the Herbal Healer)
- Arinau crafted the wreath, or Crown of Fortune, for the POV Character in Video #51 as they were en route to the Festival
- The POV Character is "slightly transparent" as a side effect of having dive travelled from Earth to El-Rah, as explained by Amanita in Video #56 (You're Stuck in a Magical Portal)
- The sorceress Astarah used the Elven method of creating a portal - piercing the levels with a Thread - in Video #50 (Potions)
- Arinau told the POV Character in Video #51 that Aya'Leigh requested this meeting and they know about the "mission from your people." (edited after i finally watched the present-day videos. also omg 1k likes...)
- the name of the elf is aya'leigh. she has a short profile linked in the description, which says that she's part of the order of the sleepless. the order also has a profile on the worldanvil page, which says that they do "more harm than help to society." now, anna in the victorian timeline has said that her father was part of the order and they used to meet often at anna's family estate in summerhill. if the victorian version of the order is anything like their medieval counterpart, what role did anna's father play in it, and what did it have to do with his disappearance?
- at the beginning aya'leigh just nudges your wreath a little, but later at 18:05 she says that "it's in my way always, just like arinau." arinau is the herbal healer; in the boat ride video she says that aya'leigh is her sister, who apparently wanted to meet us at the festival. arinau agreed to take us there, surprised that her sister knew us, then made us that wreath, called a crown of victory, to protect us. she wouldn't have done that if she thought we'd be safe with her sister; and put together with aya'leigh's remark, they might not be on the best of terms. did aya'leigh want our wreath removed, and if so, why?
(hopefully i'm reading too much into it and it's just a case of sisterly rivalry,,)
- at 3:50 she remarks that we're "slightly transparent already," a throwback to the video where we first meet amanita. if i remember right she helped make us more solid after the portal incident, so it seems the magic is wearing off?
- while preparing the serum (starting 7:57) aya'leigh explains a lot about different layers and worlds, how they're connected, and how to travel from one to another (using a really cool analogy of beehive cells). her worldanvil profile notes that she's a rainbow elf, so she has the ability to exist in several layers at the same time. at the beginning when she moves to the table her figure "blurs" for a few seconds, aka us perceiving this ability.
- starting 11:49 she says we're exhausted from doing so much work and that her mask will help in "our mission from our people." the present-day videos have revealed that we're an agent of vsb, the modern counterpart of the order of the sleepless, which aya'leigh is part of. what our mission is isn't clear yet, but it involves finding lady anna's father in el-rah, where he's been imprisoned. it's veeery possible that the order of the sleepless in el-rah, vita somnium breve in the victorian timeline, and the vsb in the modern-day timeline are all connected, which would explain why aya'leigh knows about our mission.
- 14:53 seems to explain how we got stuck in the portal when we first met amanita: we were enchanted by the layer we were traveling through.
- the mask will allow us to travel through 3 layers, though aya'leigh says we can increase that number. baba yaga/almaase said that we live in 3 worlds at once. we know of 5 timelines though: el-rah (medieval fantasy), victorian, 80s, sci-fi, and present-day. maybe the layer/world/timeline we're currently in doesn't count?
the more i try to puzzle out the story, the more i realize how intricate it really is. like seriously, if you've gotten this far and haven't looked at the worldanvil pages or the mesosphere fansite, please do so. el-rah has MAPS!
the system of magic and time travel is also very simple and elegant: if you pay attention, the details are consistent and really helps unify the different storylines, but it doesn't prevent casual listeners from enjoying the atmosphere (hehe). so much love and attention is put into these videos and the story they're trying to tell 💗
since aya leigh is a part of the order of the sleepless she also might be a vsb representative (agency we work for in the present timeline) - that's why we meet her, she delivers a message from "our people" ? and further info abt our mission

As I listen to this again and again, I just love the sound of the beeswax sheet. It's crinkly but in a soft way. I love this character. She's so sweet and the makeup is flawless. P.S.: поймала самые необычные для себя мурашки)) Визуал, краски, роскошный веер, фоновые звуки - само собой, всё сработало. Но дополнительную волну дали флэшбэки на серию о травнице (лечебная маска) и о небожительницах, создаваших из глины волшебных птиц ❤ Даже просто вспомнить их оказалось приятным триггером. Надо пересмотреть для полноты ощущений))

i love that u brush ‘directly’ on the lens too like in 4:30. most asmrtists only does it at the sides or surrounding the lens but not in the middle, yet brushing the middle is the tingliest part 🥹
I live in Turkey and from 3:10 onwards, the music in the background reminded me of the street weddings I used to go to as a kid. So I felt as if my cousin and I were bored during the wedding, so we went to the owner's house and played with the skincare products we found in the bathroom.
The fact that we hear a cat meow when we see the worlds behind the tent (a hall with columns in the distance), and later we hear the meow again when the elf mentions the worlds and time travelling - a sound that reminds us of what we have just seen. This detail is amazing.

There is so much I could say about this video. Your acting is superb. The dialogue is so natural and believable. I love this character’s voice! But most of all, I love the way that you are able to create truly, actually unique ambient environments full of the sounds of daily living that enhance the asmr tenfold! I like these so much better than videos with zero background noise. Your environments aren’t perfectly silent settings; just perfectly soft, magical, and comforting. It makes it so much easier to sink into the scenario and relax. I think asmr may be one of the best mediums ever for the fantasy genre, because it really does make you feel like you’re under a spell.
