  • The 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero!! If you’re looking for a fanTASTIC brand new bagger, this thing comes loaded with tons of great feature straight out of the box. For only $17,599 you get a 1700cc engine boasting 107ft. Lbs. of torque. This features a liquid cooled engine, a 6-speed transmission, front and rear crash bars, rider floorboards, FM/AM radio with auxiliary, quality stereo, rear lockable saddlebags, and more!!
I personally think if you’re looking for a great bagger on a budget, this is THE WAY TO GO! I truly TRULY love the way things engine sounds especially with some nice slip on exhausts. Some larger displacement Japanese V-Twins just don’t quite have that “American V-Twin sound” that everyone is looking for. The Vaquero, however, DOES have the sound you’re looking for. It’s smooth, it handles very well, low center of gravity….and truly it’s just an all around great motorcycle.

My 2022 Vaquero was delivered on January 30th. All that I can say is WOW!!! I have been riding my beloved 2000 HD FXST for last 22 years, this bike is a dream come true. $10,000 less expensive than a comparable HD Road Glide. This bike is the perfect base for any long trip. All that I have done so far is add a 1.5 inch handlebar riser and a riders backrest. I still need a seat. I recommend that you get your ECU re flashed to get rid of the constant popping from the exhaust on de-celleration and the very jerky feel of the throttle by wire settings. 1,450 miles in 8 weeks and I am as happy as I can be.

@@quasimoto4424 Sorry to hear that. It's my first "bagger" after riding a 79' KZ1000 ST for most of my riding career, and I love it. For the price, you really can't beat it. Honda did something similar w/the later model repro CB1100, wouldn't sell them in the US. I was bummed, as it was the closest thing to my 79' KZ 1000 ST w/new technology. Triumphs got some decent stuff, are they available where you are? I almost bought one from them, but the dealer went out of business here in SE New Hampshire (US).

I bought a leftover 21' this year for my first "bagger". Given everything I priced in HD & Indian, I'm not disappointed regarding the bike. I'm leaving it stock for the most part, bought the back rest/luggage rack so my wife will ride w/me, but I added the power supply on the fairing, and I'm tempted to replace the windshield. Given all the road construction going on here, it's handled awesome. IE cheese grater & bumps.

I had a Vulcan Nomad for 12 years and 120,000 km with never an issue.
I wanted to get a Vaquero but they are rare as hens teeth in Western Australia.
I'm happy with my "new" Roadliner, which has an ohv pushrod which is more old school low thumper than the Vulcan ohc motor .
I liked the Vaquero for the integrated screen and panniers which you need for longer rides....where I live it's 100 miles one way to nearest big town.
Kawasaki's ive owned are totally reliable.....800 Vulcan, Nomad, zx14, zx14r.....top bikes.
Now I'm searching for a batwing fairing for my Yamaha.

I bought a super clean 2012 Vaquero a year and a half ago. Only had 11k miles on it. It was all stock except for Vance and Hines slip on mufflers. I had the Ivan’s reflash done on the ecu and it really smooths out the throttle. I changed out the windshield for a 13 inch clear screen. I’ve owned several Harleys and I enjoy riding the Kawasaki just as much. They are hard to find though. Mine was one of only two advertised in the Houston area at the time.

The only comments that comes to my mind is "FANTASTIC BIKE" very super low cost maintenance, so if you don't want to spend more that needed and have a super nice and ultra reliable bike, the Vaquero is the one you want really have to get !! Even after more than 5 years the engine is running smoothly just like in day one. Really, why spend thousands and thousands dollars more on overprice brands, when you can have even more pleasure for less ? Check on the Vaquero, you'll be glad you did. 😉

The factory seat back/luggage rack came w/2 keys also. It can be removed and locked. Mine's dark metallic grey w/maroon trim/highlights, even on the rims. I've been obssessed with bagger / tourer motorcycle reviews for the past year. I will say this for the Kawasaki- very difficult to find an overall poor review, wide majority are good to excellent. Kawi obviously has this bike down. I actually prefer the simplicity. When I get on a bike, the last thing I am looking to do, is hook up my cell to bluetooth- the very thing I am trying to escape. Dig the brake system and liquid cooled at the price point too. We'll see.

Ur telling me! Omg, have a 21, read my comments, ecu is horrendous , popping on deceleration, terrible throttle response, I can believe nobody notices this or maybe newbies think thats the way its suppose to run, ivan is on Vacation until sept 6, so I'm . Installing a pc 6 for now, the flash is better, but I don't want to wait and lose my 3 yr warranty. The flash can lower fan temp to activate sooner thus keeping the bike cooler also changing rev limiter, just a lot more adjustability, if the power commander doesn't make me smile im ripping it out and getting the reflash. Only another thousand or so! Sometimes save the planet people and granola eaters can be a real pain in the A!!

Hello there, just bought one, 2021, excellent motorcycle in every way, but 1 note, im 65 yrs old , started with a Rupp mini bike in 1968 and been riding since, this ecu is HORENDOUS!!! Should have NEVER been released like this. Terrible throttle response, excessive heat, popping galore on deceleration, dead spots on low speed maneuvers, ivan reflash or power commander 6 a absolute must, i understand emissions and save the planet but this bike should not leave the factory running like this. SHAME ON KAWASAKI!

When it comes to technology, Kawasaki has more on it than Harley.
Harley's technology can't keep up with the Kawasaki at all.
Harley only has a great sound, otherwise the Bikes are rubbish.
