Nice video. I've been using Despia Darklords and love it a lot. Excited for the new fusion spell. Question: Why no Scythe lock? Is it because Kristya does the job? Seems like Scythe could be a good alternative to give you more options
You can definitely use Scythe instead of Kristya, but if you go second then it's going to not be as useful i'd imagine. Normally you want Kristya on the field on the first turn but sometimes it could be clutch in later rounds if they're about to special summon something important for their plays and you revive it in response, etc
My deck was missing Kristya 😢 didn't think it was needed you changed my mind. Floowanderweeze players we have something for that Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds lol
Sometimes yes, that could be really bad news if you’re forced to draw it again with a dead board. If it gets destroyed and your TFD stays on the field (maybe protected through branded opening) then you could revive aluber to grab a spell from the deck which will shuffle it and now your next draw is *hopefully* different 😅
I just builded a branded darklord deck recently. This definitely gives me more inspiration to play it. What's the song list for this video. I've been grooving to it the entire video.
im wondering why i:p is in the deck thats throws me for a loop but I love darklords it was the first deck in master duel i made and i still play it to this day and im glad that i found others who are the same
It’s better in the non-branded version of the deck. It lets you go into Apollousa or Goddess in the opponent’s turn since TFD can revive and use those as materials. I use it later in the video as examples
I'm using the variant which uses Darklord Morningstar so that means less room if at all for handtraps. Still plays well since you use cards to bait out ash, like Ixchel's draw 2 effect. I think most people would drop Morningstar and a few other cards in favor of hand traps but I find it more fun this way haha
Check time stamps in the description for the deck lists at the end, I used Branded and Non-Branded versions of Darklord Despia. Next video will be only Branded 👍
Is this really a Branded/Darklord/Despia deck though? Where's Branded Fusion, Mirrorjade the IceBlade Dragon, Fallen Of Albaz, Lubellion, etc? Not tryna be a dick or anything cause the deck looks legit just not what was expecting based on the title of the vid.
First 2 duels are with Branded Fusion, but since this is a plat to diamond video I filled up the rest with what I was using before the update. I’ll make more videos of just the Branded version soon

most people didn't realize it but Duel against true Draco was 200IQ play

Yep! That can definitely work for the Branded version.

Definitely the Branded version. When you can’t do the Darklord plays then you still have all of the Branded Despia plays
