never realised the importance to IT capabilities before
👌
great video-- I cannot find the descriptions, what link contains the descriptions?
The video mentions a PDF that has descriptions of each capability, but the link is to a PNG. And the Archimate file doesn't appear to hold any descriptions either. Am I missing something?
What would be a good approach to x-reference between a business capability model and it capability model?
Hi Joe, one good approach would be to use value-streams and link both business and IT capabilities to each step in the value stream. Happy to expand it this doesn't make sense.
@@JesperLowgren do you a video that go through value-streams?
@@joecontreras3175 funny you ask that, I am planning to start making one next weekend! Depending on work commitments it should be finished and released end of this month 😁.
Thank you for your video so much. I would like to ask 2 questions.
1st. In risk management, there are two IT Compliance Management. If these two are included, there are 82 capabilities in the whole picture. Is there a duplicate here?
2nd. I would like to ask why Sponsor Onboard is placed in concept management. Not in strategic management or operational management? Is it because the sponsor initiated the concept? Thanks again!
Hi and thanks! Yes, IT Compliance Management is duplicated, which is incorrect, my fault. Good pickup!
Sponsor Onboarding could be placed in other places. The reason I put it in Concept Management is that that's where the sponsor is typically onboarded, e.g. they are the sponsor of the Concept.
@@JesperLowgren Tks a lot. And I took the liberty of making some Chinese subtitles for your video, and if you need it, you can just take it, and it may be a little helpful to spread your IP and theory in the Chinese world.
@@user-ue5po7eq9y Thank you !!
@@JesperLowgren Pls send me your e-mail, tks.
A capability is a name for a resource that also conveys authority, but that doesn't sound like the usage here. What alternate universe have I stumbled into?
Not sure what parallel universe you are in 😄.
