This dub was GREAT. I didn't even feel like watching the sub - that's how great it was. Everyone has a voice that sounded like they could be an anime protagonist. Idk I can't imagine the sub. I'm not sure if the same personality would be there. It could be, but I'm really attached to the dub.

@@kahliltellini6866 Personally, I feel like Kaiman's voice actor is very versatile. I also have a soft spot for Keith Silverstein who voiced En and Bryce Papenbrook who voiced Fujita. Bryce Papenbrook is usually a main character so hearing him make Fujita a hero, it really added to the overall upside down aesthetic of the show. It made me sympathise with him since he sounded like a young teenager. Keith Silverstein's va was not just monotonously evil but went up and down in his emotions, which I really appreciated. Idk it's probably nostalgia. I of course think that Kaiman's va carried the show, however, everyone's voice acting added to the characterisation. Kaiman's va sounded like a squeaky, hoarse, overly energetic man child - which he honestly is. Anyways, I'll stop geeking out about the show now.

Ehhh....I kinda don't care. I mean sure they are Japanese names and effort should be made to say them correctly when they are crossing over to another language but....but.... I've learned from Code Geass and Attack and Titan that Japanese voice actors don't give a darn for English pronunciations. For example, Erwin, pronounced Erwin in English, but is "Eh-lu-rin" in the Japanese. Or Reiner, pronounced "Lie-neh" or "Lie-nuh" in Japanese. There's also names like Lelouch, which are "Rey-roosh". The Japanese voice actors try and fail, and just don't care - so why should English voice actors? Side by side, I'd say they the pronunciations are similar amounts of butchered.

I just started watching this anime and so far it's hard to find once character I don't like. They all have their moments.
