I was ready for a long hard day of drilling, mounting, and routing wires through a firewall. But it was one of those rare installs that went really well. Easy install instructions on how to install flood lights on your Honda Element (and similar). I didn't have to drill nor did I have to work too hard to get to the car cabin. The Nilight kit I used had just about everything I needed, and it is pretty cheap!

I wouldn’t put it there man a hit a big pothole or a bump ur going to break the grill get a license plate bar for cheap and mount it on there I also don’t like to cut or drill into my element

Yes. They are universal 12v. You would need to find a good spot to install the switch.
