I feel like Cal is resilient to the point that he would become a danger to the empire even as an inquisitor. I’m pretty sure they’d try to get him eliminated ASAP.

Man this was... Dark, i really feel bad for Cal's fate at the end, all this time he wanted to be Vader's apprentice only to be experimented on and tortured by him
To be honest. Cal Kestis being an inquisitor is a lot like what I imagine would happen if Anakin turned to the dark side in episode 2. Having a ton of power, and talented gifts in the force, while being a hormonal, emotionally unstable (or in Carl’s case, PTSD ridden) teenager.
(EDIT:) There seems to be a debate over what his ACTUAL age was in the Clone Wars... Does it really matter though? You still have an emotionally unstable young man who watched a parental figure die in his arms (Cal's Master, Jaro Tapal at the end of the Clone Wars, and Shmi at the beginning.)

He was 9 in Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones happened 10 years later (which is the official start of the Clone Wars) and was 21 at the end of the Clone War.

Cal's fate is very dark but typical of people seduced by the dark side.
Anakin, Dooku, Iskat Akaris and others turned to it for salvation but found only misery and death.

Or another one of my favorites what if Jyn Erso survived combined with what if Jyn Erso met and fell in love with Luke Skywalker, (I know that is technically two but it's an interesting idea for a what if especially considering how many people were theorizing that Jyn Erso was going to be Luke's wife in canon and the mother of Ray during the lead up to Rogue one).
Or or another one of my favorites what if Cal Kestic and Merrin had a daughter, (Jedi/Nightsister hybrid who tries to stick to the light but uses her Nightsister magic when under severe pressure).

Gunray would be a very slimy jedi I think, then again the teachings of the jedi might limit gunrays selfishness and apathy for others

Second day of me asking what if Sabine Wren was force sensitive
What if luke got shot down over the death star, but managed; through luck or the force. to find an airlock or safe pocket in the trench to hide out on. The rebels on Yavin would still die, likely. and luke would be trapped on the death star, might make for a star wars version of Die Hard

This is a great story it definitely is a dark story and like how Cal Kestis joined The Inquisitorious but not just turned against his friends right away for the promise of power and survival but it but eventually join the Sith and like that we see the Grand Inquisitor and Cal Kestis get see in video that you see people they use to be and end is dark or what you said nightmare but do agree Darth Vader wouldn't warm up to everyone and sadly Cal Kestis would be one people would have Darth Vader care for him so great video Pente Patrol Star Wars
