Cam is a Grammy nominated, platinum selling, Sony music recording artist from Nashville, Tennessee. She released her first major label studio album, Untamed in December 2015. A song from that album, "Burning House" has since received widespread acclaim.

In my personal experience listening to so many concerts of many different types of music I've almost always found country artists and rock artists have the most amazing live voices and there songs sound so much more amazing live!!
In addition to her voice, i think the 2 guys do an AMAZING job at background vocals ( evenbetter than her own background vocals in her official releases imo)

Burning House was the anthem of my breakup in 2015. We were together for 9 years. I had no marriage, no baby, no property, nothing to show for it. He just up and left. Broke up with me via text. The next day I had to go to the Alzheimer's walk with my mom. I vividly remember playing this song on repeat the night before the walk, desperately crying and rapidly cycling through despair, anger, sorrow, total and utter confusion... I put this song away for a long time after that time period, and I've only recently reconnected with it and with Cam. What a song, what an artist. THANK YOU, Cam, for doing what you do. ❤
4 years later and I still come back to listen to this. Just phenomenally clear vocals that are just a showcase of how brilliant this team is and how amazingly talented Cam is. Much love!!
One thing I loved was in an interview on the Today show before she performed it she said way back she was in College and she majored in Art and Music but she couldn't make up her mind which one to go into and her Professor told her to picture herself old and which one which she regret not doing, she said that did it she went with music!
Thankful she did!

Burning house is the song I hold in my heart for my ex husband and children's father. He has struggled with addiction since he was a child and though we cannot be together on an intimate level we have a relationship for our children. Our struggle to co-parent together has been a long and difficult journey but we are raising amazing people.
That last one choked me to bits!!! SO BEAUTIFUL! Took her 6 months to write it through all the tears! I bet it took nearly that much longer to get to a point where she could sing it in front of an audience so FLAWLESSLY!!! AMAZING!!!!
I met CAM last year at one of the local radio stations 92.3 in Orlando. An amazing women with heart of gold that reflects in her songs!
Met Cam at the airport a couple of years ago before she got real big. Sweetest person, I bet she hasn't changed one bit

I'm so happy to learn what inspired this song as it is one of my favorites! What an amazing story and it's such an emotionally intelligent and compassionate act too which speaks volumes about the person she is.
All were special songs but The Village was so, so lovely. I can drift off to sleep feeling grateful for the many people, here and in the past, who have helped build my life on a bedrock of love and care. I am humbled.
The story behind Village was my favorite it has a sad story but what Cam said was so true the don't leave you unless you forget them they stay in your heart.
Came back to comment again after 5 more listens.... the tears are still spilling! I'd love to Cover "Village", but it might take me 6 months!!! WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!

I'm a fan of and an acquaintance of Cam's drummer, "Walle" Wahlgren. He's a phenomenal Progressive Rock/Metal, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and now Country drummer! He's seriously one of the most versatile drummers out there, and he's still relatively young.

She absolutely blows Carrie Underwood away. Cam is so much better. A true talent and I don't think she gets the recognition that she truly deserves. They put Carrie on a pedestal because it's all about the look. Well the look, didn't come easy. It took her weight loss, plastic surgery, veneers and hair extensions to get where she is. I think Cam is a natural beauty and a natural talent. Deserves so much more than Carrie!
