It has been a few years since I completed a project for my friend Danny. He and his brother have been amazing supporters of me and my CZcams channel so it was a pleasure for me to dedicate eight hours of my time to his exquisite 2021 Volvo XC90 T6 R-Design. I mean it when I say exquisite. You really have to experience an SUV like this to fully comprehend the elevated levels of craftsmanship and engineering the Volvo people put into their cars. This magnificent Swedish land yacht received a full exterior wash, interior refresh, and final spray down with DIY Detail's Ceramic Gloss.

I appreciate that. The water nozzle is nothing special. I picked it up at my local home and garden centre. They last about a year but I keep going back to them because I do like them. I just wish they were higher quality and lasted longer. The spring mechanism gives out too quickly.

There is no denying the level of luxury and refinement Volvo is putting into their cars these days. I could find no flaw or fault with this XC90.

That little jerk tormented the heck out of me.
Incredible video, Rick! We just traded our 16 XC90 T6 Inscription and god, I was ready to see it go! It was a nightmare! The entire sunroof pan was replaced, motor mounts, touchscreen coating came off, rings failed causing it to burn a quart biweekly, volume buttons went out, 4 sets of breaks in two years, the entire leather dash crinkled up and came loose, rear hatch broke, etc.
It was such a beautiful car and the napa leather was incredible. Certain aspects were unmatched however, it wasn't just a lemon. After researching and personally connecting with 4 dealerships, they're extremely problematic. It's weird, it's things that other manufacturer's figured out a very long time ago. ๐
Overall, it was a nightmare to own! Service wasn't nearly what Audi, Acura, BMW, and Mercedes are either. Felt like going to a Kia dealership.
Iโm sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. It is a big stress when a major investment such as a car doesnโt live up to expectations. As my car gets up there in mileage and age, I start to wonder what my next move will be and when it will happen.

Amazing job done on that bigger Vovlo, especially the care given to the leather.
I didnโt showcase the process in the vidoe because it is hard to show absolutely every step, but I actually applied a coat of Leather Star by KCX on the leather. What a wonderful interior in that vehicle.

My neighbour has xc70 289.000 km on her and just recently replaced the fuel injectors only money he has spent on it except for brakes and tires told me why sell it you keep it looking like new and I still love the car. He does have others as well. Great video as usual ๐๐ป๐จ๐ฆ

Honestly, the DIY lineup perfectly represents its name. It is the easiest and most approachable brand out there. It is no nonsense and everything just works. I have so many brands I really enjoy using, and DIY is up there on that list. I have no reservations recommending their products to viewers.

This one was very chill. One of the toughest paint colours to capture on camera and the lighting was tricky too. But, it has a brooding feel to it.

That was an 8-hour job on paper, but I spent 12 hours one day, and 5 the next with all the prep, filming and clean up.

The brush you used on the mats, have you tried it for tire dressing yet? I just bought one and haven't had a chance to use it.
Yup. It works really well on tires too. Itโs small though, so itโs best suited to low profile tires.

What towel you use for the diy ceramic gloss?
Those are the 350GSM Detail POPO towels I get through Carzilla. The orange are called โSunsetโ if I recall correctly.

@@RADGarage Some dudes would spray soap inside the dashboard air vents and then push the soap with the air gun so it would go down far inside. Essentially to remove dust and germs inside the vents. Other people thinks it can create all sorts of problems.
Oh I get you now. I have been guilty of using compressed air to "blow out" any residual soap in the vents. I mostly prefer to do it the old fashioned manual way though. I have been using the vacuum more and more in the interior to "suck out" the leftover soap. I don't think a little soapy water in the vents would be a problem but I can see how some people would get worked up over it.
