Honestly people on roblox fnf games always contradict themselves, I'm pretty new to the whole fnf thing but I used to play robeats quite a bit 2 years ago so after a bit I became somewhat decent at fnf games, then when I'd lose people would say "HA you're so trash that was such an ez song too" and I'm just there like "Why would it being easy matter...? If it's easy that means you can do it really well, this is a 2 player match, it doesn't matter how hard I find the song if my opponent is far better." Also I only found out, like, a week or 2 ago that you can change the keybinds, so I've always been using arrow keys, and whenever someone would ask me what my keybinds were I would be like "??? I use the arrow keys" and then they'd suddenly go from calling me trash to being a hacker. Like, what? So if I don't use arrow keys and lose to you I'm trash but if I lose to you and use arrow keys I'm a hacker, how tf does that work? Edit: To clarify, I never usually lost by that much, except for some songs I can just never do well on, so for some reason people act like if I do worse than them I'm trash but the fact I lose by barely anything using arrow keys suddenly means I'm hacking I guess?
im pretty sure that the devs have balanced the scores for every song. if the other side has 100 more notes, the devs programmed those 100 notes to give them, the person who has more notes, less score than usual, and since you have less notes to get score with, the score of each individual note you hit will have higher value, but not high enough to gain an unfair advantage against the side with more notes. i know this from experience and some stuff i read from yt comments. i’ve played a few unbalanced charts with a bunch of people around my skill level, and we were at about the same score, i or they were less than about 5000 score off most of the time.
