Had a thought about the Nyan Board figure. Not sure which one it is that you got out of the two, but if the one is called Hachi I would assume it might be a Japanese Akita, named after the famous dog who waited for his dead owner to come home for 10 years. Why do some have weights in them?
It’s mostly for when they’re sold in stores. It makes each box the same weight so someone can’t pick up a box and know which one it is based on how heavy or light it is.
Stupid Dumb Memory Centaur, I pulled her in series 1 and left her in her box for months 😂

I don't think Kikagoods reusing a hair mold counts as whitewashing, it's just a different character with the same hairstyle! However, I agree that the lack of skintone diversity is disappointing.
KikaGoods actually don’t make the dolls, they’re just a retailer. The brand is actually called Penny’s box. But yeah I agree… I don’t mind them reusing the design from the 1st season but the only tan doll in the first season was turned white in the 2nd season. Just kinda unfortunate 🥹
@@Ohlico oh yeah sorry I meant to write Penny's box instead of Kikagoods, my brain did a scramble! I think the reason why they didn't add a darker skintone to some lines of theirs is because they went for pastel colors as a theme, and there's a misconception among artists that darker skin doesn't fit well into pastel palette. UF Doll successfully made a very cute hidden design (Peach Jelly) in their tea series that has dark skin and pastel pink accent colors, I love her so much but I probably will never manage to get her since she's rare QvQ I will however be getting the pink haired tan boy from Adou, he has a bulldog and a very cute face
No worries! And yes!! I hate when they say darker skin tones don’t fit the look of pastel because that’s just untrue and wrong! And yay!! I love the adou boys!! I have the one with the reddish brown hair and I love that they come with little bull dog lol
