This was a great video. My mind was spinning when. I was reading about all of this. THANK YOU

Thanks for the video. We have an ongoing nightmare with our fibre wifi, and I'd describe it as the worse internet connection I've had for years. Our ISP kicks the can down the road with just about every excuse in the book. I tried changing the channel and will reattempt that, in addition to your suggestion on the DNS settings.

Thank you for your video. Great work!! My house is less than 1500sq ft. But I have a 2 story.I stream a lot of live tv, sports, and movies. My modem/router (Xfinity) is located up stairs, and my living room gets a lot less download speed. I was thinking of getting the eero mesh 6+. What do you think? Will that help out a ton if I located the eero next to my streaming boxes/doorbell camera? I have a few camara’s as well. Also a ton of WIFI devices we connect too.

What are your thoughts on Wi-Fi boosters

I’m not a big fan of them. They create a separate wifi network which complicates the user experience, and they generally don’t provide any speed benefits, just boost signal strength if you connect to its network. I’d rather have a mesh network with a few APs instead of using wifi boosters.

The problem with WiFi networks cannot be generalized like this. You should study the issue more before you start such a video. What is the building you live in made of? How are the surrounding networks, is there any interference nearby (you touched on this topic a little, but really only a little)? Often providers require the use of their devices, so they cannot be replaced, but it is possible to turn off their WiFi network. For example, on optical networks.
