I swear I watch every single one of these and own a pair and still will watch every new video with a child like fascination
We are fascinated with boots as much as you are! 😄
I watch every single one of these and I can't even justify buying boots. I'm an office worker who will never get a chance to wear one of these down in a 100 years but still I want these so bad.
@@davechuasoup that's better reason to get a pair they will last you a lifetime
@@davechuasoup friend are you gonna be 80 years old one day saying i should of bought a custom pair of hand made boots?. there are many kool thing that life offers , bur breakin' in a pair of boots like this, can add to your life in ways you wood not of thought . order some friend.
@@davechuasoup I am an office worker and still own a pair of Nicks. And I am looking forward to any muddy, rainy day, when I can walk them out in the forest or even on the boardwalks, staying all dry and cozy. And as tyler said: If you dont do heavy duty work in them every day, they will last you even longer.
"These boots are expensive, what the heck - how hard can they be to make?"

"Oh"
What a beautiful hand craft! Please keep this industry alive. I understand what you’re doing. Thanks a lot
Dont get any ideas guys but, its amazing that you can even sell these boots for like $500. There is so much manpower and labor that goes into every single boot its amazing
I have Frankenstein feet which would not tolerate the wear of these beautiful boots, but as a craftsman and artificer in my own right, I greatly admire the cobbler's craft and I appreciate these videos! My burning question is answered at 12:15, where all those sharp boot nails go. Great stuff.
Nicks generally does a custom fit to your feet.
A great video, very informative! I'm trying to make a set of pirate style turnover boots, using a moccasin toebox since I lack the tools to do a proper modern boot, but with a more modern outsole. This video is a great reference to know what I need to do to modify the boot into something that will last and be comfortable (like adding a piece of leather covering the stitch on the upper vamp, triple stitching where possible, including both an arch support and a shank, how to make wure the boot is level, etc.) Thanks!
I love watching Master craftsmen at work. I someday hope to own a pair of Nick's boots. Thank you gentlemen!
Finally! I nderstand who the last works and how it gets removed! I've been wondering about this for two days. Cant wait to get my new boots!
I have had my boots for one year and three days and all I need to do is replace the heel on these comfortable boots. Can't wait to get my second pair and a first for my daughter. Nothing compares to these boots.
What type are you getting for your daughter?

Absolutely the best boots at any price!
От всей души благодарю вас за великолепную работу !
Woohoo 🙌 what a lovely lesson
Fun to watch my boots getting built!
Love my Chelsea’s. Thanks.
Super detailed, concisely insightful.
Respect from Indonesia 🙏
Thanks for the narration. I’ve watched a lot of these but never knew the process. This was great.
Love these videos! Gets me more excited about the arrival of my Rose Anvil ND1 indestructible boots that I ordered!
I put y'all a sticker from my local in the box with my try on pair... I'm getting excited about my boots🥾🥾🥾🥾
Thanks Nick's for these videos, holding me over while I cross off calendar days waiting for my Roberts to arrive!
Exact same here! Hate to wait but it’s worth
Thank you for these exhaustive explanations !
Best Nicks video with a great explanation.
My favorite!! Need another pair soon 💯
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Builder Pro boots
SIMPLY THE BEST.
Damn I love Nicks boots.
Well done. Thanks 👍👍
I would like a job there. I am a small time independence cobbler and my dream job would be to work for nicks handmade boots.
I cannot wait to visit the store in Spokane and gets me mines!!
@Nicks Handmade Boots a video of you guys making the ND1 boots would be awesome.
Some day I will own a well made pair of boots like these. Firefighting takes a toll on boots and it would be nice to get a pair of boots that would last more than 1 season but my dollar doesn't seem to go as far as it used too. Still looking forward to it, :)
Nice work, keep the tradition alive American made and duty free ! USofA still does Quality footwear and hosiery 👌✌
YOU GO NICKS BOOTS #1 USA 😃👍
I'd love to attempt to make my own so I could make them how I like. No bulky heel, no arc supports, not super stiff, just simple flexible flat bottomed slip on boots.
Very cool! Thank you for sharing this video!
Great boots ... both feet flat on the floor ( kinda like two thumbs up for
a favorite movie ) ! I want a pair
( I'll have to wait for a scratch & dent
sale )
I want some now
What an incredible process! About how many hours of work goes into each pair of boots that you guys make?
It takes about 2 days, with 10 people to make a pair.
Can't wait to receive the Moc Toe
Anda memang luar biasa, saya mengagumi mahakarya anda👍
cool work wish I saw less glue and a Good Year Welt instead. and a true leather sole for some. Keep up the good work!
Very impressive, also very expensive, maybe I'll save some money to try a pair, hopefully I won't be disappointed, with such a price tag.
Very beautiful and nice 👍 🙏💐
That’s fascinating. I ordered some Falcons a couple months ago now I think and I can’t wait to get them. I may pick up a pair of Americana’s if I like how the Falcons turned out. I wish you guys had boots in stock that I could buy. It seems like the only ones available are for Oompa Loompas or Shrek.
Our In-Stock is updated almost daily, but the standard sizes are usually bought out within a day or 2 of uploading
Very skilled. Very nice.
wow lovely
Love mine
I watch just about all these videos and am always wondering about two things that were explained here. The nails through the soles and the last removal. Caught that here
I own a pair of Nicks Builder Pros as well as their belt. I Love them both. However, everytime a video launches I can barely help myself from purchasing another pair. It's inevitable I guess why fight it, I need a pair of Overlanders lol.
Jimmy Diresta sent me. Just saw his boot knife video again.
Hope you subscribe!
Great video? I probably have around four months left to wait for my Americana.
Man, I wish I could afford your boots. I'm stuck with Walmart junk for now. Someday... Someday.
Could you do a profile on how your Packer Boots are made and what the available options look like on a boot.
Thank You and Happy Thanksgiving to all at Nick's Boots
👏 Wow Simply Amazing.. could you do a video on how to properly take care of the 👢 boots. And what particular products i should use..
They have those up. Search Nicks Boot care.
What are the chances of finding some lasts that are actually foot-shaped with enough room for the toes natural splay and a zero drop heel?
Can you explain how some leather shoes "outside pieces" aren't the same color or "color match" all the same color. It looks like different colors. What causes that?
I am curious how long does it take to make 1 pair of boots from scratch for a professional? Or is it not a one-person job?
i wanna apply to work in the bottoming department 👀👀
I want to see how McKay stitching machine works, explained
bery, bery nisssssssssss
I wish there wasn’t a 24 week lead time, I almost ordered 2 pairs. I got them saved on my wish list but I can’t wait 6 months. That’s next May!
It is definitely worth the wait. But I see your point. Waiting 24 weeks for boots is alittle crazy
24 weeks is going to pass either way. At the end of that time you could have a pair of these amazing boots. Or you could not.
I chose to get the boots! To each his or her own, but that was my choice. 👍
Вечная обувь. 👍
Harika oldu
Friend great
Cool👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I'm surprised you don't use a more modern system for cutting, Galco uses an overhead projector/scanner that can map efficient holster shapes onto a hide after it's been marked and mapped for deficiencies in the hide. Maybe too modern for your main line but maybe for quick ship 🤷
That sounds like a really interesting piece of tech, but it would take tons of research and time to set it up. And besides, our clickers do a pretty good job without it!
@@nicksboots viberg uses that method. I assume it would allow for more precise clicking but you guys do it very well already soo
Mike Rowe would like this.
3:00 do you just soak the leather in water?
What do you do with the scrapped boots? Also is it possible to hand stitch a pair of these?
Please advise the actual name of that stand used when using a bulldog pliers.
How do you get the shoe last out of the boot?
what kind of leather is the mid-sole made from and where can one buy some of high quality? I'm trying to make my own in-soles for my running shoes for a more bare foot feel.
We are currently selling some leather scraps packages! You can look through and see if you find something that would work
I need some training in shoe making can you help me?
So what happens with the first 3 nails ithat hold in the insole?
They get pulled out before the shanking process.
@@lukelarsson I must have missed it every time 🤣. I've been watching these building processes and Wondering for months now.
@@ThomasSteed Ha! Yeah, the guy at 4:12 would have pulled them out. If you don’t remove them it makes getting the last out of the boot really difficult!
Uf... Nice game.
if my foot is exactly 26cm/10.2362 inches what size should i get. i have been stunlocked the last 2 weeks i don't no what size to get

I wanted to reach out. I dont know if this is the right way of doing it. But theres a CZcamsr out there om a channel called Ghost Town Living. His a guy that bought the Cerro Gordo mine out in a dessert. He builds, maintaines and showcases this place to is all mostly by himself. And in a couplw of videos I've see he mentions shoes or boots hes gottn that dont hold up at all in thouse conditions. It EMIDIATLY got menthinking of you brand. He would benefit greatly from a pair of your boots.
Please inform me can we use slip foam inside
You can, but many don't since it's not needed. Do you have high arches or flat feet?
How much a fair of that boots?
my family job
Ok. Where do I buy these?
Where do I buy your boots??
What boots are being made in this video?
I am really surprised these boots don't cost $1500.00. That's a LOT of work for $500-$600.
Пожалуйста русский озвучить субтитры 👍
I have no need for these boots and I want many pair of these boots. What’s wrong with me
Nothing, everyone needs a good pair of boots!
@@nicksboots which of these make the best hunting boots? I tend to do hard, wet, long hunts way off trail and up mountains in the Pacific Northwest.
Something like our overlander, which is an 8" boot with a Lug sole sounds like it would fit your hunting trips, if you want something taller then the classic BuilderPro with a 10" upper would be your choice!
Dear Santa, I've been a good boy this year! Can you please have the elves sew me up a pair of Traveler's in a moc toe size 10.5??? Pretty please! 😍😍😉
Oooooh, me too! Pick me! Pick me!! 😉👍🤣
I am resisting the urge to buy a second pair before my first pair is delivered
It seems that there's a hammer for everything. Holy smokes.
Assalomu alaykum.....👍 Uzbekistondanman...
Американцы оценят!))
Why do some boots - if not most - have welts?
Waterproofing and resoling
Have you ever built a pair of boots that the customer WISHES to include the defects in the leather for more of a “character” look to them?
Скажите пожалуйста сколько стоит такие ботинки ?)
~$550
These things last centuries, I guess.
Wight price these boots
$500 to $600. But worth every penny.
Hand stitches would be a lot better, machine stitches tend to pull out in a row after one stitch is pulled
