In most cases I agree with you. However, on this one I disagree with you. I think it's better to start at the 2 star obelisk and build up to 6*, when the stats are good/optimal. For instance, a 2* obelisk has more chances to boost the base stat up to the max of 40%, the further it has to upgrade, than a 4* obelisk sitting at 25% when you start upgrading. I see what you mean from a material perspective, but the best chance to get 35-40% of a stat, is to start at 2* and rank it up. Good stuff though, as always.
Good point, and one I was just going to make after watching the video. If you're hunting the unicorns of 40% elementals or higher hp+, ignore dodge etc, I always start by reviewing all my 2* obi and locking the very best ones. So much better to start with a great lower star obi than a meh higher star obi. At least in my opinion

Example: if spiderman dodge maxes at 200% I dont wana have 350% dodge. Maybe I'm just slow but I dont know what the max is for anything on the characters

I mean I know GB blocks skills, but like people tell me Quicksilver GBs, but if you look at his skills, it says the words guard break exactly nowhere. How many characters can do this? How do you tell if they can? Who is GBI really valuable to have when fighting against? Is it really as needed as people make it out to be, or is it possible it’s overhyped? These are the things I would like to know! XD
When I level obes, for obes rank3+ I use 3 of the same rank and then 2 of the rank below. For example, If I'm working on a rank 5 obe, I use 3 other rank 5 obes to get it to 75%, then I use two rank 4 obes that will get it to 100% without wasting material and without having to use another rank 5 obelisk For rank 1 and 2, I just use them as the idea doesn't work for those ranks.

I always try to find the obelisk with the highest stat, sometimes the 2 star obelisk has highes stats than a 4-5 star obelisk and the 2 star obelisk's stats will be higher by upgrading it. ( Mystreis )
ITGB can be anywhere in those immunity obelisks. it isnt always where u said. it is always before the elemental attack ones, yes, but they do get mixed into the middle of the immunity obs

I was re rolling some gbi obis, trying to get invincible with a decent defensive 3rd stat, what do I get....gbi crit rate 200% proc and gbi immune to snare 180% proc in back to back rolls, plus a gbi ignore dodge 180% proc. Needless to say I locked them, haha. Still don't have a gbi invincible though.
My case is correct opposite.... I have many 6* obelisks with gbi and 3 sec invincibility,,, but I'm actually rolling since to get damage proc above 140%

I've only been playing for a few months now so just starting to get a good grasp of the several game mechanics. I always thought the stats of the obelisks used as materials had an impact on the main orange stat of the Obelisk you are trying to upgrade. For eg, the best way to max out an elemental obelisk is to "feed" it obelisks of lower/equal * level with the same main element/orange stat (E.g.: feeding the 2* 20% Mind Damage Obelisk you want to build up other Mind Damage Obelisks with a lower % would result in a higher Mind Damage % than just feeding random obelisks you deem useless). Or was I wrong? It doesn't matter what type of Obelisks you use as materials, it will still improve the main orange stat the same way? Because in your video it seems like you are just using Obelisks you deem useless without paying attention to the synergies between their main stat and the main stat of the Obelisk you are trying to upgrade.
Wait what about ignore def obs ? I thought that's a good stat for most champs so I've built up a few 6* with damage procs. They are rare for my acct as well. Am I wasting my time?
I don't think so. I think Alex is assuming the player has close to max ignore defense through their cards. If you don't, I think using that stat on an obelisk is good.
I have been experimenting with 3,4,5 star obelisk with damage procs upgrading them to 6 star. It may just be me but it seems I get more procs at 6 stars by upgrading ones with procs at 3,4,5 star vs other obelisks. Could you possibly test this at some time?
Out of curiosity, why is that first one a bad obelisk? Getting a heal of 10 percent whenever your health is below 50 percent can be nice together with the immunity to webbing as well since pvp has a lot of spidermans, gwen stacy and the like from where i am at the moment in silver and below.
I will never understand how you say an obelisk with 2 offensive stats and 1 defensive stat is garbage. With the sheer amount of RNG in this game, how many perfect obelisks have I rolled in 4’years, I’d say is less than 20 and I’ve rerolled obelisks a few thousand times. I say 2 good stats is good enough.

For elemental damage obelisks you're absolutely right. I was thinking about GBI which is fixed. Good point I should have included!
I have a 2 star obelisk with 39 and 32 percent regen. Should I upgrade it or just have it as it is so that it doesn't change?

I've played this game for 6 months and I've rolled 6-7 damage procs(excluding CTPE)
Having Critical Damage and Critical Rate as your first stat has a higher chance to end up with a proc. At least that's what I've experienced...

The recovery rate of your heroes determines how much HP that your hero is healed when you receive any kind of heals. Orbs, Skills etc
