    I still have the one my son made in pre-school. He'll be 29 this month! It's the first thing I hang up every Christmas. :)

    Erica , You brought back a childhood memory. I would take a metal hanger ,bend it around like you did then Dry Cleaner plastic. Cut into strips & tie around. I would use the clear & blue. Made it real fluffy, then sprayed flocking snow. It turned out so nice. That was a good memory. Thank you for sharing. 🎄👍😊

    I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning and growing together with you.

    you can also make this very thing with plastic bags, or plastic sheeting. These have been around for years and in time and back when you could find colored to clear plactic sheeting or dry cleaners plastic wrap. The material just needs to be flexible enough to tie on...I have even seen yarn used on small hoops.

    I love the way you add binding, I always sew off fabric at each corner. My question is when turning binding do you pull it tight around to back or fit it out at equal width on each side?

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  Před rokem

      If I understand your question correctly, I pull it tight around to the back. That also means you can see my stitch line on the front, but it doesn't bother me.

    Would stretchy jersey fabric work or would it be too droopy?

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  Před 2 lety

      Hmm, it might be a little droopy but I bet it would work if you squish a lot of them on!

    Do you have to worry about fraying on the ends?

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  Před 3 lety +2

      Since it's just hanging on the wall I wouldn't worry about it much. Also, some people prefer that frayed look on the edges :)

    • @sabrinaharris6538
      @sabrinaharris6538 Před 3 lety +1

      If you don't want fraying, you can use a pinking blade in your rotary cutter to cut out the pieces.
