I still have the one my son made in pre-school. He'll be 29 this month! It's the first thing I hang up every Christmas. :)
Erica , You brought back a childhood memory. I would take a metal hanger ,bend it around like you did then Dry Cleaner plastic. Cut into strips & tie around. I would use the clear & blue. Made it real fluffy, then sprayed flocking snow. It turned out so nice. That was a good memory. Thank you for sharing. 🎄👍😊
oh that sounds adorable!
I have memories of making those dry cleaner bag wreaths with my mom in the early 1960’s.
I always love the bloopers at the end. And that kitty. You make everything fun. Thank you
Great little project! I am going to get the grandkids working on a few of these for Christmas gifts.
Love your wreath Erica!! My neice is having a baby boy this February and I will be making one of these for the baby's room with the left over scraps from the quilt I made for her little angel! Thanks so much for this tutorial!! Happy Holidays!
Love this!! Thank you, Erika! I will do red, pink and white for St Valentine’s Day!
I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning and growing together with you.
Great idea for the use of those honey buns I have laying around.
you can also make this very thing with plastic bags, or plastic sheeting. These have been around for years and in time and back when you could find colored to clear plactic sheeting or dry cleaners plastic wrap. The material just needs to be flexible enough to tie on...I have even seen yarn used on small hoops.
A cute addition for our sewing rooms 🧵✂️
I can do that! Love your bloopers!
Great project and looks beautiful! Like your idea of using a metal clothes hanger. I never thought of that. Wondering if you have any quick ideas...maybe no sew...tree decorations. See you tomorrow.
Super cute! Definitely going to have to make this.
Beautiful job I love making those type of wreaths it's so relaxing and thank you for sharing
Great project idea! Your bloopers are always so funny and I think it's sweet how you include them. With my girls in scouts we made white plastic bag tie wreaths for Christmas.
Thanks so very much I remember making these in elementary school...good designs you have Happy Holiday's
Easy, fast, and straight to the point! Love it! Thank you!
Such a cute idea and Lord knows we have enough scrabble pieces of fabric!! 😊🎄
Erica I absolutely LOVE this and hope I have enough scraps to make it. ;)
So cute! Now I know what to do with those extra hangers
Cute!!! I bought a wire wreath form at dollar tree a few days ago. I’m glad I watched your video now I have the sizes to put on!!! Thanks Erica!!!

I remember making these in the 90’s with different scraps of homespun.

Where did you find your metal baskets? Can I find them in your Amazon shop?
Here they are, I have the medium size: bit.ly/3g6qMDp
Cute 🥰 I try to make one every year. I like 👍 your hanger wreath !! Great idea 💡!!

❤️ Cute project, cute video with the outtakes and your daughter’s ASMR. My daughter likes ASMR as well.....frankly I do not understand the fascination with it. Lol.
Sew cute!!!! 🧵 🪡 ✂️
Thank you!
I love this idea! Great scrap buster!
This looks so easy - thanks !
(Your hair looks great)
What fun! Thank you for sharing this.
I love the way you add binding, I always sew off fabric at each corner. My question is when turning binding do you pull it tight around to back or fit it out at equal width on each side?
If I understand your question correctly, I pull it tight around to the back. That also means you can see my stitch line on the front, but it doesn't bother me.
@@erica_arndt that was correct question, thank you
Wonderful 😊
Great, easy project! Thanks for the video🥰
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
Love this! Very cute! Thank you so much!

Love this idea
This is so pretty. ❤
Love Katie ASMR
The wreath is fun and cute too! Love the bloopers cute Kitty 😺🐈 cat
Great project!!
Approx how many fabric pieces do you need? I think I'm going to do this for my "girls" christmas crafting that I will be hosting this year so I need to know approx how many scrap fabric pcs to cut ☺. Thanks.
Oh my gosh, I don't even know! We used a lot, but honestly it barely dented my stash LOL! I would fill a gallon zip lock bag probably!
Very cute
Do you have to iron your scraps before attaching? Thank you
No
Cute.❤️
Would stretchy jersey fabric work or would it be too droopy?
Hmm, it might be a little droopy but I bet it would work if you squish a lot of them on!
🤗
So pretty and simple! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Cute
Do you have to worry about fraying on the ends?
Since it's just hanging on the wall I wouldn't worry about it much. Also, some people prefer that frayed look on the edges :)
If you don't want fraying, you can use a pinking blade in your rotary cutter to cut out the pieces.
Love this I have a wire wreath ring!!
Ummm worst one I've seen
Thank you!
Love it!!! Thank you
