Fun fact, Cannibal Corpse is a fancy way of saying Zombie. That's why all their album themes are about violence and mutilation - it's the zombie apocalypse
Its crazy that theyre all in their 50s and still sound this heavy. Erik rutan from hate eternal kinda revitalised this band
Agreed and Alex Webster continues to be one of the best out there

If you've listened to older stuff with more unintelligible vocals that may have been their old vocalist Chris Barnes who did their first 4 albums and did some of their more well known songs such as Hammer Smashed Face, Fucked With A Knife, I Cum Blood etc
George Fisher enunciates his words better and better such good musicianship so brutal and keep the audience interested you can't go wrong with this album holy death metal classic masterpiece album of the year goon be tough to beat
It's funny i finally got into them a week before this song came out. I think Kill is my favourite album and sadly as iconic as it is i can't stand Chris Barnes era CC

I'm also old enough to remember Cannibal Corpse from when they were first coming out. I agree, it's surprising to listen to them after such a long break and see how light they sound compare to modern bands like Lorna Shore etc
Never liked the band. It's just not my thing metal wise. All extremely talented, no doubt. But respect for them going still after all these years.
