I have a hard time taking Nurse seriously because he complains more than any NBA coach about calls EVERY play, even going back to Toronto.
He had thumbs up sarcastically to the refs after Hartenstein's block on Maxey at the end too, which was a clean AF block.
Lowry/Nurse should have called the timeout before they even inbounded the ball.

Was annoyed that we didn't get an easy team like Orlando, Indiana, or a Butlerless Heat team, with the 2 seed, but the 76ers seem like they will fold in 5.

No referee will allow a timeout while the ball is loose. Nick should have called the time out after the Brunson three and progressed the ball halfway. Rookie mistake 😢

Brunson is being fouled on every play. Jersey grabbed, slapped on arm. Reach in fouls never called on 6ers. Even on replay 6ers get the edge. 6er players spend more time flopping than playing.

Bad coaching, should hv called a time out before the inbound. Coaches foul up too not just the players. You dont expect that from great coaches. Then again its the players who play.
You cannot be indecisive on your timeouts. You have to run out on the floor to them.

You can’t expect the rule to be a team has to do everything 100% correct in order to get a win. Because it’s never happened in the history of the league or any sport or any person ever. So when he looked at the ref and called the time out before the ball was even inbounded and the ref ignores him. What else are you supposed to do?
Who and how is he blaming anyone? Check the tape. He clearly calls timeout twice, as does Batum and a handful of other players. In that situation, referees have two options: a) Call the timeout and award said team the timeout or b) Call the timeout and if said team does not have any remaining, assess the technical. He has every right here to be a bit upset.

The guy who decided that holding a star player for 48 minutes so his legs burn out is moaning about the refs. The Knicks should swarm Embiid with bench fouls in the first quarter to wake the league up to this tactic. Shout outs to Netflix for having the spine to air that documentary proving. this HAS been happening. NFL is no different. MLB is no different. Do I believe the players enjoy doing this stuff ? No. Would you complain making tens of millions of dollars though? Basically these are superstars and talented players slowly becoming actors. I’ve won a lot of money knowing this stuff is rigged. I’ve lost some too. Regardless until the players get fed up, we will have to speculate that only ONE ref in the NBA rigged games.

You act as if the refs decided who would hit the first big 3 (Brunson) or get the clutch rebound (Hartenstein) or who'd hit the 3 with the game on the line (DiVincenzo). Knicks fought and made more plays. Refs don't shoot the shots.
