Vivosun HPS 1000watt Grow Light, Ohuhu Tent

This is a quick view of a 1000 watt Vivosun HPS lamp, AC Infinity Vent fan, Vivosun Charcoal Filter, Ohuhu 5’x5’x80” Grow tent, Hurricane 6” Fan, trellis netting and general setup viewing.
All products available on Amazon Canada. Total cost was just shy of $1000 tax in delivered. Sure, and LED might be cooler, but I’m really not so sure they are quite there yet unless you spend $1300++ on a light. So this is it for now.

Hey guy nice video. I have the same ballast and light, my power flickered this morning and now I can’t get anything to work. Let it cool down for 1 hour unplugged even switched the bulbs and fixtures. Any advice?

I got the 8 inch hood so gotta get the8 inch wondering if the vivosun 5×5×6 with roof. I hope the walls don't suck in with that 8 inch high cfm may need some poles

I’m looking at getting a 600watt hps that I can turn down to 400 I don’t want it to get to hot do you think I would be ok

I think you need to turn your light around.To my knowledge it's not good to have the air pushing towards the tip of the bulb??The buld needs to heat up to get full spectrum. 🤔

These lights have a glass lens on the hood to keep it sealed, you lose some of your light though

I have a 4x8 tent with x2 1000w HPS in my shed , I cut out a square on both my tent and shed then I seal the AC Unit to control my heat issues and I have 2 dehumidifiers mounted on the wall from the shed and again drilling through my tent .

Is it necessary to cool the grow space because the lights make it too hot? Do they really generate that much heat? Thanks

Is the inline ac infinity fan pulling air or pushing air out?

It’s pulling air out of the tent and venting outside. It pulls the tent air through the carbon filter then exhausts outside.
